Fastest 40k somehow?!

3:22 This is the most random thing! I’m scrolling through KZbin, watching the classic GCN videos and KZbin suggests this video and I see the thumbnail of ‘London rides’ and as I’ve literally just started to commute to the office on my bike in London I thought I’d give it a watch. I’m thinking, “pretty cool intro, like it, ohhh I have the same mini pump, that’s cool”. You then are out on the bike and suddenly I recognise the route through the tunnel and then out by the Thames and then I think, “hmmm, why does this guy riding holding a camera seem slightly familiar!?” And then… at 3:22 there I am, on the lime bike (blue shirt and rucksack) cycling to the office 🤯 I even remember thinking as I went past, “I wonder if he is a famous KZbinr” The fact that KZbin recommended me this video and we happened to pass and I happen to make a 0.001 second appearance is absolutely mental! Anyways, I’m no longer on a lime bike, I used my own bike yesterday so, slight upgrade 🤷🏻‍♂️ I call this sort of thing a ‘Strange life event’ 😂 Well, you’ve now gained a new subscriber 😂 All the best, Jack

@@Thejackgraves this has got to be one of the comments I’ve ever received, you really drew me in with the story 😂 Glad you got to make an appearance, always amazing to get people tagging when they see themselves!! What bike did you replace the “trusty” lime bike with? Crazy the algorithm must have seen a QR on your bike or something 😂😂 Thank you for the follow! I ride that route a lot so never know you might make some more guest staring roles.

It still baffles me 😂 small world! Replaced the Lime with just a Specialized Hybrid that I’ve had for years and for the first time ever, cycled to work which considering I got it through the cycle to work scheme, it felt right! Commuting from Eastbourne via a train and then short cycle to the office so not brining the road bike for such a small commute 😂 I’ll keep an eye out now, no doubt we may pass again!
