Excellent. The quickest, easiest method I've seen so far. Thank you sir.

I had 2x4 secured with cement nail. Tried several methods, no luck. Tried this and it worked just like the guy says. Great idea. Thanks.

Thank you! Got r done using your method. Best result was one hard whack each nail with a rubber mallet.

Fatest easiest way is with a square shovel standing up avoid being on tour knees 👍🏼

I like that idea.

Do not use the claw of the hammer or prybar to pull them out. That will make a heckuva hole! This works really good! It’s not perfect every time, but sometimes the nail pops right out and all your left with is a perfect hole!

Not that it matters but does this method leave half of the nail in the concrete?

You removed nineteen nails and got nineteen divots. . . . . . . . Works like a charm!
@songcharpentier82744 жыл бұрын
The divots dont mean anything. Went over it with wood. This aint no golf course.

Any suggestions for patching the divots?
@songcharpentier82744 жыл бұрын
I did not patch them . Just put one of those snap together simulated wood floors over it. But if i were to patch. I probably would use that fast dry stuff they sell at home depot or lowes. In the floor section. Its not expensive easy to use just add water an mix .. but my old brain can not think of what its called. Anybody in flooring would know.

God Bless. I just turned 68 , I hope I never have to refurbish another house ever. It's a lot of work. But there is satisfaction in doing it yourself , and saving money.

@@songcharpentier8274 Thank you! I am a single woman and a homeowner. Last home improvement guy I hired to install a door charged me $60 an hour. I like saving money if it's a job I can do myself. Next, is repairing my fence in the backyard.

Practise makes perfect. A lot of people were squawking about the divots. But as I got better at it, the divots got smaller. And they are covered over anyways.

if you are staining the floor you don't want any divits thus the grinder.
