How Lap Times Were Obtained Accurately
The best lap time a vehicle can achieve around a circuit determines how good it is and therefore its place within this list.
Each vehicle was taken around the same circuit multiple times, with the best lap time being recorded. For most vehicles this equates to 10 laps per vehicle, but can often be more to ensure the absolute best lap time has been achieved with the vehicle. There are some caveats to this kind of testing though which are worth explaining below.

I recommend reading this for anyone who is confused, interested, or doubts the validity of the results in this video as it explains in great detail the extent to which these results will be useful for you personally, in addition to linking the track used for your own testing/comparison.*
So with that all being said, my vehicle testing should be taken as a guideline. The testing is very accurate for this track and similar tracks when cars are driven close to the maximum without any extra refinements. At the very least you should be able to use this testing to help narrow your field of view for your own personal testing. I would always recommend testing a variety of cars yourself and take into account what kind of tracks you're racing on, what is better for you and your skill level, and even your budget. My testing is meant to guide you, not tell you exactly what to use in every situation.

I’m pretty sure the sentinel is faster with this setup, and it’s definitely more fun and easier to drive. I use all the modifications on the front of the car, including front under glow, and no spoiler, with fujiwara or other rear grip wheels. The result is a car that handles very well imo but different from any other car because of the handling files and downforce. I use side skirts and rear bumper too, without exhaust, hood or roof. Thankfully this car has a lot of front mods to work with, I use all of them except hood pins.

im not sure what you re trying to say but visual mods dont impact the performance with the exception of spoilers on some cars

@@loudpissingnoise8574 you’re wrong, cosmetics shift the centre of mass (COM). So putting all the parts up front makes the car oversteer, “turn in” better. And only some of the tires have effects, like the fujiwaras that add rear grip. With these mods the car will turn better but not slide out in the rear because of the tires. I have no spoiler because in this case it adds downforce, which makes the car feel planted and reduces the slip angle.

@@Mr88Andrew88 Dawg. This isn't iRacing, Automobilista, or Raceroom. Any difference you're experiencing is merely a placebo effect. The only mod parts that affect vehicle performance are the spoiler, suspension, and off-road tires. Everything else is cosmetic.

@@thesis4349 That's because that's unreliable, many things factor into top speed, this is top speed on a mostly smooth flat straight If you factor in hills, bumps and other things, you can get higher but that's alot of variables to think about... You might have got 232 once but on a second run, you might get only 180 or even 160 because you didn't carry as much speed or didn't hit a specific bump On a flat smooth straight, this car reaches 127mph because that's it's top speed

His methods are useless because the map itself it's not flat all the time, the concept of TOP speed is the max the car can do on the standard map (forget special races). If you can get more than 232, than it's the top speed of it, simples as that.
