As a fellow Master console genji I would recommend to change the jump button to LT and use deflect button as “A” so u can b able to jump, aim, and shoot at same time lol but overall rlly cool vid lol def something new 13:20 the reason to do this is to avoid having to play “CLAW”

Chat giving him the worst sensitivity settings and button layout is crazy. Literally just set jump to L3 (clicking the stick in) and everything is easy access. 100% horizontal sensitivity 100% vertical sensitivity 0% EVERYTHING else.

leave it to necros viewers to give him the worst possible settings just because you wanna be a weirdo and jump with stick click instead of jumping with L1 like a normal person doesn’t mean you gotta tell necros to do it. ogre ahh thumbs 😭 no sane person willingly chooses to map jump to L3 settings you can use without claw that actually make sense: jump: L1 deflect: R1 swift strike: L3 (swift strike and deflect reversible, just notice how i didn’t put jump, something that needs to be done every second on genji, on the most uncomfortable button to press repeatedly) primary fire: L2 or R2 secondary fire: L2 or R2 melee: R3 crouch: circle reload: square blade: triangle you could also map melee to R1 instead of R3 and take whatever was on R1, whether deflect or dash, and put it on R3 if you prefer melee with a button. and also invest in a controller with a couple extra back buttons so you won’t have to do any stick clicking

Only at 18:23 so far and deeply wishing pain comes to the idiots suggesting stick clicks for jumps. Fun to see necros committed to it. I hope to see better controls later. PSA: left trigger is most ergonomically comfortable to spam and hold for jumps unless you have paddles which basically mimic trigger feels anyways

You need a controller with paddles on the back so you can jump, dash and deflect without taking your thumbs off the sticks

I have played controller for way too many years and using the equivalent of tactical bumper jumper on COD (L1 to jump, R3 to crouch, x to dash and circle to melee) allows you to do everything without leaving the thumb stick, you just gotta use your middle fingers of the triggers

L1 for jump R1 for shoot, R2 for right click L2 for dash. You should have most of your buttons assigned to the bumpers so you don't have to take thumbs off sticks lol your chat trolled you hard with those recommendations

Idk if you gonna read this, but i wouldnt recommend putting deflect on A if you aren't a claw player, i guess R3 is a better option, L3 for melee, R2 (RT) for jump and L2(LT) for secondary fire, L1(LB) for primary fire and R1(RB) on ability, yeah i know, my binds are very unusual, but it works for me just fine! But, play the game on controller on the way you want and feel more confortable.
