Hello, I grow and propagate something similar in my yard in Central Florida, East Coast. I call them Tapioca plants Most of mine have variegated leaves. It's so easy to start new ones by plant cuttings. I grow mine for the ornamental leaves. I have never tried to harvest or process the roots for human consumption. I enjoy your channel. Thank you for posting your videos.

Looks great, definitely a must have for this style of garden. These seem to be difficult to find around my parts, but finally got some cuttings. Apparently they are easily propagated by cuttings, suckers and seed.

Yes, by seed is relatively easy, but you have to scratch the seed before sowing (like Canna) and lot's of patience 😉

I live in Ossendrecht, the Netherlands. During frost I protect the stem with fleece. It did work last winter. We had -11C.

@@TropicalGardening Bedankt, deze kon ik nog niet. Helaas uitverkocht maar ik zal ze in de gaten houden. Wellicht dat ze dit voorjaar nieuwe voorraad krijgen.
