If they do patch it, you can still kill slowed/frozen elites and specials quickly with combat axes, and combine that with mutant injections for when you get surrounded and energy mine turret augment for even faster rounds. That's the strategy InsomniaVirus and I used recently.

A quick tip about the blood sacrifice. The health scales in reverse so the higher round you do it the easier the HVTs are to kill. Round 26 or higher should be enough to finish 1 trail with 1 mutant injection.

I don't think it's that the health scales in reverse, it's that the damage of the MI scales to the zombie health at the round you're on. Same reason MI doesn't do much to the HVT's in the Liberty Falls boss fight at low rounds.

I use mutant injector insted of chopper gunner, mutant injector is better than for high round strat use hand cannon for specials and elites its so OP

The bo6 health system is a blessing for the ice staff so you would never get freeze rounds unlike it's predecessors. The ice staff can be used all the way to round 999 which is amazing. Also the storm radius seems to be bigger too.

Yeah I'm still undecided on which ice staff I prefer. BO6's has a wider radius but BO2/3's does charge shots faster & has the option for a Double Charged Shot

I love this guide and followed it to a tee. However, due to an absolutely bullshit bug, I won't be playing this map, let alone high rounding on it, until it's fixed. I was on round 32, doing the same thing you were showing in the video, fully set up, when a mimic spawned on me in between staff shots, grabbed me, and put me in a wall, where I got stuck and died cuz I couldn't move or shoot, but the zombies could still hit me. What a joke.

I went with another strategy by myself which consisted of using the energy mine turrets at the arrow trap, alongside the staff of course. Did the easter egg and then went to round 117 (well deserved break) in about 4 hours (2 of them doing the ee). I didnt know the spawns were just as crazy for zombies as they are for spiders on that stamin up room. Might adapt to this strat, seems far superior.

@jaymeelwilson5879 This video is where I found that the handcon would scale damage, it's not really necessary to have because the tomahawks deal so much damage to frozen mimics. But yeah people will complain, whether they'd reverse the decision to a patch I'm not sure they would because they only patch they've reversed was the directed mode and shadow rift in any of thier games.

I tried it and was working with pistol. only I saved game this morning I want to continue got first game update when back in game and was not working anymore that mimics etc easy get killed. It did not effect at all anymore. Not sure it is a game glitch or treyarch nerved fun again

Guys I know a good strat that is as good as this. Do everything he says in this video except the hand cannon part and use the energy mine turret augment and place those down in the middle and go train around it while it kills all the specials and elites and use the ice staff too

Glad you showed the failed shot. I'm forever shooting singles cos the charge timing is different to BO2 😅 Is there actually any way to tell when the charge is ready? Like on BO2 the staff had lights on it?
