It kills me your sub count isn’t higher. Most underrated channel on KZbin, you work so hard and your garage fab is so good. Anyone reading this comment that isn’t subbed… Do better! Let’s get Kyle the subs he deserves. Next stop 300k, he’s so close. 👍 from 🇦🇺

Anytime you drill stainless start with an 8th inch drillbit and work your way up. Lots of pressure use lube and slow speed.
@robholmes21298 ай бұрын
Also drill at a slow speed in steel or stainless steel.

Hahaha! Funny you bring up big blocks...about 6yrs ago, I built a 403, TFS 215cnc heads, but worked to 225 spec, old FAST 90, Mamo ported, 90 TB, Nitrous outlet plate, rings gapped for a 400 shot, but ran 10.30's on a tighter converter for spray. My dad, has a 70 Nova, Dart block, solid roller, pump gas 540, 850 or 890cfm 4150 or some b.s, and we both took the cars to get tuned. I drove, with a TH350 and 8" converter while his trailer queen had to roll off the ramps, while my car cooled!lol End of story, a 10.5:1 solid roller 540 made 515whp, my 11.3:1 403 made 538whp... I could drive mine daily, and I did 3 years straight! His carburated supposed to be the best junk around big block couldn't make it in a car show sitting in line without getting hot, having ignition issues.... and I STILL can't convince him to put the bitch up on race junk or something and go the way of the world!lol.. I'd honestly like to try my hand in a new 6.6 GM block, good heads, cam, and a nice turbo that'd be fun on the street for him! I mean, I could do a 13.5:1 E85 427 out of that block with a nasty set of heads and big ol cam, I bet it'd make 600whp or better! Mast makes some bad ass heads for those too

You need more loopty loops in your brake line to help cool off the exhaust gas before it gets to the sensor.

This is a general question to anybody who wants to answer if you have a full SR 20 DET red top swap in your 240 SX that has great compression but a Nissan wiring harness. Would you guys fix the wiring harness or would you pull the engine and transmission sell it For around four to $5000 and buy a full iron block ls swap. I alredy have a t56 Catfish Camaro for the swap But then again I have a full 2jzge-t vvti with a built marlin crawler W 58 5 speed swap sitting in my shop I recently recently have not been the biggest fan of four-cylinder engines even in line sixes are cool, but I don’t know the engine is also technically rare so it’s cool to have what is the coolest worth but not being able to get parts easily because I live in a really small town

remeber wanting to redrill some holes out of a stainless piece . the drill got redhot and basicly reshaped intoo the size of the old hole , ruined a perfectly good set of hss drillbits as i tried smaller than bigger and gigger still all of those expensive drillbits melted heared the only thing that can still drill intoo hardened steel is a stone masin drill thats been reground , they have hardened tips as for the intercooler : if you put a thick aluminium plate bellypan under it you can set the front spoiler on top of it , if that aluminium plate is the first thing to hit the ground it should hold up way better than a poliester spoiler lip prolly can use that plate as a sled to get the car up the first bit of the ramp intoo the trailer if youknow wat sizes bolts you need most you could buy in bulk online , be way cheaper and save you a few trips to the tireplace , i buy them at aliexpress , takes a while to arive but is way cheaper than buying by weight at the diy store

At what point does back pressure decrease power and does the amount of overlap have an effect on that? Just asking for an opinion.
@Boostedlifestyle8 ай бұрын
You use it more to find out the limit of the turbo when you get 2:1 back pressure to boost pressure you're turbos pretty much done
@davidreed60708 ай бұрын
@@Boostedlifestyle does the engine perform the same with at a 2 to 1 backpressure if it has 30 degrees of overlap as it will with 5 degrees of overlap?
