It's been verified (by the KZbinr Back Road Driver- I asked him the question) that with this Whipple tune, the top speed is governed to 135 mph. I would certainly like to precisely know the 0 to 60 and quarter mile times as well, as I am a perspective buyer too. These are educated guesses ---but Hennessy quotes an 11.9 in the quarter mile for his 805 horsepower lifted truck (that doesn't have the Shelby rear proprietary suspension - - - traction bars). So if this has 775 hp with 3.73 rear gears, good traction bars and (I think I'm referring to the lowered truck--- not this raised One, which will be marginally slower), but we should be talking low 12's to no worse that mid 12's in the quarter mile and probably low fours or maybe high threes zero to 60 in good DA (air density). Launches are to be done in SPORT MODE, four-wheel high, with traction and stability control switched completely off. Some people even go as far as engaging the locking rear axle when launching... But...with that...I wouldn't really recommend that continually if you want any serious longevity with the rear locker---just occasionally if you want the absolute best elapsed times.. Hope this helps and at least gives you some idea.... Car & Driver did a write-up on these trucks but they just are too rare ---no test. Neither Car and Driver, Motor Trend, nor Road and Track has actually conducted instrumented tests on these trucks. (As an aside, the regular cab, two-door, all wheel drive super snake is capable of 0 to 60 in 3.45 seconds and well into the 11's in the quarter mile at about a 116 to 119 mph trap speed, easily enough to defeat a ram TRX at a drag strip. I've even seen the older generation 750 horsepower single cab lowered Shelby truck defeat a ram TRX in a quarter mile---on Throttle House I believe) I'm a performance Ford truck guy , so sorry that this was so long :-)

Absolutely, the hardshell, looks tacky to me. I'd go for a hard sectional folding cover, much easier to remove by one person, vs the solid one piece of fiberglass style.

Interesting on tinting the sunroof many shops won’t tint sunroofs as they can crack they claim, any tint actually approved for sunroofs like xpel ceramic? The amount of heat from the sunroof on the f150 is insane.

Great video beautiful truck but if you’re considering purchasing a Shelby F150. Keep in mind if you ever want to trade it in the dealers going to tell you that’s a lariat F150 and only offer you trade in value for Lariat F150. I’m speaking from experience I own a 2020 Shelby F150.

I own a 2018 and know for a fact I’d that truck will not get 18 mpg. The best I’ve ever gotten is 12.7. That being said I didn’t buy mine for the gas mileage. Anyone buy this truck isn’t worried about mpg. So why exaggerate?
