Therefore the centripetal acceleration stays the same. And you don't even need to know physics. Everybody knows that a heavier car is slower at cornering than lighter car because although the formula is frictional force=mu*mg, everybody knows that the relationship isn't completely linear, and is infact slightly logarithmic concave down.
