@@user-bp1be1yg2h read what shaykh Uthaymeen said about eating the meat of the ahlul Kitab and it’s rulings جزاك الله خيرا you’ll find various rulings as to why firstly this is a Christian country that is the asl secondly the prophet did not question how the meat was slaughtered and he said say bismillah and eat it thirdly he did not investigate the matter further even though there was halal meat readily available around him. He did not see them perform the slaughter of the animal. The ruling on ahlul kitab is the country one is in if the country is christian or Jewish the ruling applies.
