String can often be faster than Pika's flight if properly done right, though it's not as consistent as Pika.

No, string T gain speed with momentum, and if u do it right, u will turn into the fastest man alive, i use ito, and pika flight dont need a buff, being the second fastest fruit.

you should try things like sky flight and boats too. Sky flight with magu is a good way of getting around the map.

Not tryna be rude but the way you did these was kinda bad. You should've done every fruit in GPO that has some way, whether glitch, literal move, or use an item (such as Mera striker) of transport and measured those. Obviously Mera flight is shit but Mera striker is broken as hell. An unknown one is hie Karoo. That shit has 50/50 chance to glitch and go double the speed and it's almost-just as fast as pika flight.
