Any sudden neurological symptom can be a stroke. As you know the word stroke is derived from the word strike because it strikes like a lightning. The acronym which is used to remember the symptoms of stroke is FAST F-A-S-T. F stands for drooping of the face. A stands for drifting of the hand. S stands for speech problems and T stands for time. The most important factor is time. Whenever anybody experiences these sudden symptoms it may be tingling in one part of the body or weakness of one part of the body, difficulty in walking kind of imbalance or slurring of speech or sudden problems in the vision, sudden problems like vertigo or imbalance can be a stroke. So it's very important to reach the hospital within three hours as soon as possible because what we say is time is brain. Brain is the most important organ and time is the most important thing. You have to rush to the stroke equipped hospital as soon as you experience any of the symptoms. Thank you.
