The trick to that is running to the heli spawn before the round is actually over. You won’t take much damage in the storm so in the last 5 seconds just run to the heli. Just be careful not to stand directly where it spawns, or you will block the heli from spawning and you won’t get a heli at all

Niiice bro 💪🏼 glad to hear some things were helpful. Also just focus on getting as much progress on weapons you don’t have done yet. Go for as much ground loot as possible at first just to get that stuff out the way, or at least get some progress on it so you can finish it later. When I recorded this video I already had all the ground loot done so that’s why I focused on loadouts

Use the mystery box. There are a bunch of rare guns in there and guns that aren’t on the ground drops, loot table, (a bunch of SMGs are in there and legendary weapons are not too uncommon.) KNOW WHAT GUNS ARE IN THE DROP TABLE!!! And don’t put them in your load outs.

If you did all the ground weapons that spawn on day one. I’d recommend jumping straight to nightmare mode. It’s not that much harder if you’ve learned to become a competent player. There are so many more zombies so you won’t have to worry about teammates taking all the kills. I like to build points by knifing all the wardens( there are plenty to go around)get at least one load out gun done ON night one and buy a second one for day two Don’t have any ground/mystery box/boss/crate drops in your load out. Focus on guns that don’t spawn in world because over time you’ll slowly build up games with the ground weapons and drops. Just know what parts you want to pick up, grab up parts for yourself first. If you got something you won’t use drop it. Look up a good combo. I use 3 cannons 1 missile. So missile mods and sentinel mods are most valuable. Honestly playing nightmare is more fun as there is challenge, I can finish all my load outs on day 3.( I keep two sniper classes because they’re useful and fast to get kills) and if guns are pretty weak you can packapunch them on later nights and they can kill zombies even while they are buffed by necromancers

These are the best practices I've found out the hard way, so far: Day #1 - Don't build turret until Night #2 / Day #3! Gather everything, ammo, nades, etc. Deposit nades in Warehouse every day, during daytime. They will become prime asset during Night #5. Night #1 - Go for WARDENS, until you reach 3000 - then buy 1st weapon (AR/SMG/LMG). Don't waste ammo on Wardens & let your teammates have the easy kills to progress themselves. Day #2 - Loot + kill with 1st weapon. Buy 2nd weapon when you reach 3000 (every day or night) Night #2 - Now you can buy your 1st turret, but not really necessary yet! Spend credits on weapons instead! Turrets will only become really important from ~ Night # 3! Day #3 - Now you have to finish grinding 1st AR/SMG/LMG and the 1st sniper/Shotgun. Always prioritize to buy new weapon instead of turret/turret update! Night #3 - Prioritize to buy new weapon instead of turret/turret update! Make sure you have enough (~1/2 of max) ammo before the base relocates, but don't waste more credits, save it for new grindable weapons. *** Night #4 and especially #5: turret placement is a key factor in getting enough aether essence for upgrades, and most importantly, keeping all the progress you made thus far. Place your turrets very close by, preferably adjacent to the base, in different corners, especially in the endgame, when Wardens surge the place. You can alternate between repairing the base and killing Wardens without moving, just by turning. If possible, relocate them quickly according to the direction the main workload approaches. Be selfless and make a habit of repairing ALL turrets, not only yours. If a turret is stormed, it's better to smash the turret with your wrench than smashing the zombies, except when the zombie is toxic. +1 fact I learn from this video: smash your turrets during upgrade to accelerate the process. Of course, only do this, if the base is not under stress or sustaining continuous damage. NIGHT 5 - RULE #1: IT'S NOT FOR GRINDING!!! BASE HEALTH IS PRIORITY NO. 1! If you progress with the weapon(s) used in this last round, it's just a bonus. (That kill you just counted as plus one, was probably either a teammate's kill or a hit by a random turret anyway.) I rarely made progress in the final night, even with the PP19 or M16, as the emphasis is on repairing, which rules out gun usage most of the time. NIGHT 5 - RULE # 2: If you see even one teammate use an XS1 GOLIATH, forget everything else and try to keep the BASE HEALTH in the BLUE RANGE + ALL AVAILABLE TURRETS healthy. Goliath users are unable to repair anything (to my knowledge and experience at least). I've lost 2 matches because of Goliath users, from a total of 3. NIGHT 5 - RULE # 3: USE M16 (Wildfire)/ PP19, These melt everything in their path, except wardens. They hit the hardest and are the most efficient killers. If you grind with randos, you'll need them. Don't bother to ADS with the weapons you grind for. Prepare a loadout with the best possible hipfire performance and/or mobility (valid even for Sniper/MR class - just close the distance). Last but not least (once more): Use your WRENCH AGAINST WARDENS, instead of your main gun, as a general rule of thumb! Bonus: #1 - Do NOT steal other teammates' weapons, if they are at, or their weapon was dropped next to the base! It was left there probably unintentionally, not because they wanted it to drop, but by accident. That person would probably return a bit later, when they realize their mistake and need that particular gun for their progress. #2 - Make a spreadsheet to plan and document your progress, it helps a lot to figure out your next steps most efficiently.

​@@SERTIFIED567 Not really, I never said anything about using vehicles at the beginning :) I also never said the heli use is mandatory, as those kills you and your teammates make can rarely be separated and you won't know how much kills you alone made. If for example sidemissions were effective for you, and you made progress most of the time, it's totally OK, but I'd rather count the kills to make sure I definitely have the 25 + 10-15% for those AR/SMG/LMG grinds. I found a lot of times in the 1st 2 days that I didn't make any progress on weapons I was certain I did - that's because had the illusion of getting enough kills, when in reality, I was shy one or two. Killing lots of zombies as a team makes accurate counting impossible. Your video is very good, needless to say, but I didn't use anything what you said as the basis of my comment. As I mentioned, everything was learned the hard way, I just wrote it down, 'cos I don't have a fixed team and want randos to wise up and don't commit the same exact mistakes I made, when they are assigned to me by the system. Let's just hope many of them watch the video and also reads my summary as well. I generally make progress on 4-5 weapons within one match, I know more is possible, but for me, it's enough. I also didn't lose any matches in the last 2 days, which is even more important.

When I get kills in the daytime, it won't count them, and sometimes it doesn't count my progress after some matches.

There could be a couple reasons why it’s not working .. 1. Your not getting the required amount of kills on the weapon you have 2. Your not winning the match, you must win for it to count

Use explosive bolts, travel to launch base, group up the zombies and shoot the zombie in the middle of the group, causing the rest of the zombies to explode. It’s best to do crossbow on day 3 or day 4 so that if you need more ammo, your more likely to find some on the ground or from an airdrop

Sniper ammo won’t appear until day 3, you may get lucky and find some on the ground next to a sniper, most common found for me was the outlaw/DLQ so just grab that ammo. If you don’t find any on the ground, another option is to check airdrops. Also a pro tip, you don’t need to complete the missions to get the rewards. I would mainly just go to missions for more kills, and after the time limit runs out you still get all of the loot/ammo except it won’t drop any weapons, so keep that in mind 👍🏼

Sometimes it don’t matter about how much damage you have. I didn’t really focus on anything besides counting my kills for the weapons I was grinding. Turrets didn’t really matter to me either until day 4/5

No they are completely wrong, in this video if you count the amount of weapons I used, I got progress on 10 weapons and they all counted. But you have to get the correct number of kills for the weapon your using

Best place to go for kills is sanitarium. If you get a good spawn in the beginning and can go there, you’ll be able to find .50 GS, LCAR, QQ9, Fennec, AK, ODEN, EM2 and maybe some others and you should be able to get progress on 2 of those guns then switch to 2 more for when day 1 actually starts and get started on progress for 1 of those. If you get the progress for that, switch it out by buying your 1st loadout and then when the round is over go back to sanitarium and get progress on the other ground loot gun you have first then switch it for a new ground loot gun and then get your progress on your loadout gun. This method is a great way to start and got me a lot of progress

Well starting from the beginning, better take chopper and go to infected zone, you make way more point, don't put down a turret is a mistake if you play well you can put one, upgrade it and buy 2 of your weapon from the base in the first round, that because turret make passive points. Best place to go for camp is the hospital, not mission. Also is missing a suggestion about the weapon to use, like in the beginning rounds and in the day pistol, SMG, LMG AR, in the late round snipers and shotguns. This way using ground loot you can make 12/13 weapons a game.
