This video and others are my joyful expression of my passion and first amendment rights in a forum where there is no expectation of privacy. I do not intend to scare anyone; least of all potential rafting customers. However folks should be aware of the inherent risks of rafting to make an informed decision.

It is good to be back. I am well on my way to a total recovery. I am running the Ocoee in rafts and kayaks and hope to get back to creeking in the late summer. Thank you for your kind words.

Enjoy some rafting or even try out kayaking. Ecuador is another great place to go rafting in South America. Many Canadians winter in Ecuador high in the Andes.

Where is that river at? I usually do the deschuttes in Oregon but I want to step it up and this one looks fun!

This is the Ocoee River in East Tennessee. This is where I work as a river guide and safety boater.

1) was this one specific outfitter? Looked like I saw a raft from wildwater as O2R? 2) which outfitter do you run with? 3) have you heard anything about the 2025 guide training season yet?
@FastFredRuddock4 ай бұрын
Guide training begins in April. Upper training typically takes place in early June. Train varies between the many outfitters on the Ocoee.

Seems this video is still triggering snowflakes all these years. Folks these are guides and trainees having fun while learning valuable swift water rescue skills. Secondarily this videos shows you what inherit risk is. Furthermore this is NOT class 5.
