mysteryguitarhaziq to be a Muslim, you have to donate atleast once in your life(unless you're poor you don't have to), and during the month of Ramadan, many Muslims donate alot of money to charity but it doesn't even have to be a lot because any amount makes a difference. also fasting is not just about relating to the hunger, but to become a better human being spiritually and mentally (same thing?idk) but in Ramadan you shouldn't swear,smoke,talk bad about people,get angry etc it also brings unity and peace...people who hate each other stop fighting for the sake of being a better person . it's also to get closer to God.

in ramadhan you have to do zakat al-fitr and zakat al-fitr usualy to help people that cant afford food or something else. but in islam you should do zakat anytime. so if many muslim do zakat that they should do, i think you can help the entire world :)

For some reason I want to become Muslim... even thought I just watched a video about how they don’t eat for a full month EDIT: I appreciate all the help and comments i will update you all on what happens in the future thankyou :D EDIT 2 : I spoke to someone at the local mosque and researched alot, i am 100% sure if i mentioned i wanted to be Christian on a christian video i wouldn't get the same encouragement that all you muslims displayed. i love this religion and it is the most peaceful and most kind religion, Alhamdullilah i took my shaddah not too long ago and i feel like all my sins have been forgiven i felt so much closer to my creator Allah , i am actually in tears . fedri hatta fasting also makes you appreciate your blessings, such as being able to afford food. Also for me, after I'm finished with fasting, I appreciate the taste of the food as well, like I enjoy it more (if that's makes sense lol). It's like a refreshment for the body that is well needed.
