I had to post this . I literally trained with you all through . I watched your videos ,then did sample questions. I sat for the exam after a month of this .and I made it .. I got a band 8 overall . @@akhilahmed1109 Practicing and listening to as many mock tests as possible. Listening and speaking are the easier modules to score higher in. Just look up listening mock tests, there’s more than plenty that’ll help you out.

@@rb-gc6ro Give computer delivered ielts if you can. It’s much more comfortable (if you are good at typing). For listening and reading go to online websites like idp and solve their mock tests. For speaking just watch mock interviews on youtube and practice. And for writing, learn the different types of formats that are required for different types of writing tasks.

Got 5/5... Asiya, thanks for your great videos/tips. One strategy for multiple choice Qs, which I think the toughest type of question, is , once the recording starts focus on listening only to understand the topic thoroughly, and not to read and listen simultaneously. Then you can read in detail the rest of the questions / options IN THE INTERVAL BETWEEN the multiple choice qs and the next one and choose the correct answer ...OR complete reading and choosing JUST AT THE END OF THE LISTENING INTERVAL. It works for me well!

Hi Asiya thanks! I watched your videos prior to the test and can't thank you enough. Had only 3 days to prepare. I didn't get a 9 in listening, only 6.5 but overall I got an 8. I lost focus in one section of listening (with 10 questions) and risked a lower score, but it's something to improve on. Keep sharing the good work, hope it inspires others too as it did to me.

When I look at the results here, I believe that I can get 8 too. Honestly, I'm really scared of speaking or writing something in English even if I've been studying it for a long time. The maps in listening section are troublesome for me always. Not that I don’t get the directions but the speed in which the audio plays.. it’s like I am still at first location and the speaker starts to give directions for the third or fourth location in question

Hello, Asiya) in this test I got 5\5. Your advice is clear, simple and effective, thanks a lot. I just have 1 question, if you don't mind. I don't understand the usefulness of the recommendation "try to memorise the options in the box". Why should one bother to memorise them? Isn't understanding them, underlining keywords and concentrating on them not enough? Nobody is going to remove them during the playing of the recording... Hi Anton, you're right that the options will be in front of you at all times. I find that sometimes there's not enough time to look through all the options and think which one may suit best. So if you remember what the options are about, you may be able to identify the correct answer more quickly. Hope it makes sense now. Try a couple of practice tasks to find what works best for you

I've been deeply interested in IELTS for the last couple of months and following some channels with native English speaking teachers. They are (no doubt) brilliant and effective. But (for some reason which is very strange to me) none of them offers such detailed (and at the same time natural and clear) analysis of the tasks as you do (maybe they use it only in private lessons, but it doesn't look like it) . I use exactly the same techniques preparing my students for our national exam in English... So I'm sincerely happy that I've come across your channel and really wish you good luck and prosperity!
