This isn't about the wording but the way in saying it. The first one can be natural despite its advanced vocabulary.

This isn’t an intelligence test or a test where they try to trap you for saying two different things 🙄. This is an english test and they grade you on four criterias based on speaking band descriptors…Being stupid or intelligent isn’t one of them 🙄

" I haven't applied any job yet. " If you have a reason, use this: " I haven't applied any job yet due to some circumstances " Or you can replace ' circumstances ' with ' complications ' if you had complications trying to apply a job in the past.
