Relatively new to wrenching on my motos, but installed 14” FBI bars on my ‘22 RKS last winter, and found it to be a pretty smooth process. Saved big money over the estimate from my local dealership. Have about one year and 10k miles on them, and continue to be a big fan.

That’s awesome! Wrenching on your own bike is what it’s all about. Definitely saves you a lot of money 💰
@newmoney81284 ай бұрын
This is really too much If that's the case you might as well just extend the clutch and the brake cable with new longer cables yourself because your doing the same process just shorter cable smh

Great video! I just got same bars for my 22 road glide st and I don’t have half clamp on my left side (cloche side) and now I have hole exposed. Surprise Fat Baggers don’t send you that, since they know that 22 Road Glide ST doesn’t have it.

That is strange. Hopefully they fixed this issue.

Thank You! I would upgrade your bushings every time to polyurethane bushings. I covered that in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpKqkoyVZZ2rbbssi=y8KfbOGolZmK2Vji

Would it be advisable to pull the main fuse before starting to work on the bars?
@RAIDERWORLD7 ай бұрын
I pull the main fuse every time, I just don’t show it on every video. I also disconnect the negative battery cable

Hello question do you know how good their warranty is I just finished installing mine like 30mins ago and realized it a short in the wire on the start side wiggle the wear it works it's like it was pinched
@RAIDERWORLD8 ай бұрын
I would contact Fat Baggers. I’m not to sure about thier warranty
@motorcycleden9 ай бұрын
Thanks for an excellent video! This will definitely help when installing mine. I'm getting ready to order the same 14" bars for a 2020 Road Glide Limited and I contacted FBI about brake and clutch, hydraulic extensions. They said I wouldn't need the extensions, but I noticed you used them. Do you think it would've been possible to do the install without?
@RAIDERWORLD9 ай бұрын
Thank You! I really appreciate the support. Congrats on the new bars. Now, it could be possible to reroute your brake and clutch lines, and you wouldn’t need them. I did a video on the 14” TAB Performance bars, where I rerouted them kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJzZkHuJZ9ZnoKMsi=0hhkbUyCfjQ8FFJb

So i have a hydraulic clutch and I had to prime the line from the enclave but I had a cut wire on my switch so I had to take the bars apart and now my clutch handle will not adjust…. I used a whole bottle of DOT 4 an still nothing …
@RAIDERWORLD8 ай бұрын
That’s unfortunate! Sometimes these things happen. Hopefully you got it all taken care of
@ChanceChelios8 ай бұрын
@@RAIDERWORLD my bad Devil, I was hoping you could help me troubleshoot the issue, do you think I have something obstructing the lines because it pressures up when I’m squeezing Dot 4 into the Enclave with a syringe?
@RAIDERWORLD8 ай бұрын
@@ChanceChelios unfortunately, that’s something I swould have to get my hands on to know what’s going on. Sometimes you have to take the primary cover off and adjust the clutch on that side.
@ChanceChelios8 ай бұрын
@@RAIDERWORLD I think im explaining it wrong, when I squeeze my clutch there is no much play, there is no tension at all, last time I did this I primed it up and it felt normal this time it seem to not want to prime up the line.
