I believe Stephen A didn't have it easy and worked hard to get where he's at, but as he's gained a larger audience his ego has allowed him to distort reality and parts of this book are examples of that. Along with: - Questioning Max Kellerman's credibility on sports - Saying he saved Skip Bayless on First Take - Saying he saved Shannon Sharpe by recruiting him - Disrespecting Jay Will on air

I've always tried to keep comentators and sports/film critics opinions in perspective. Their views are no better and no worse than any of the rest of us. But most, Stephen A included, allow their notoriety to give them a false sense of superiority. His views on sports is no better than the rest of us who have loved sports all of our lives and he sure as heck is no expert on social issues. So Stephen A's, Shannon Sharps, Skip Bayless', or any other person's views on any topic means absolutely nothing to me. They're just inflated egos spouting off on things they're mostly wrong about. Stephen referring to himself as a "straight shooter" is just masking the fact that he's just an angry, bitter man.
