Brilliant, super clear footage, crystal clear audio and some stunning views, brings back some great memories, apart from Dereck's 'scenic route of doom' 😳. Great watch, very professional and as always, a great laugh too, good to see you back out with another great video, cheers Alan

Thanks for the memories. What a lovely day. My, now, wife and I first climbed Barf as part of a circumnavigation of Bassenthwaite Lake in July 1969. When we got back to our accommodation, the proprietor told us there had been the first moon landing. We considered our day had been tougher than theirs!

Wow Trevor what a recollection, your adventure would have been much harder my friend without question. You had to contend with proper gravity and no moon boots and a gradient. Glad it brought back some memories for you. Question: Did you plant a Union Jack on a pole at the summit?

@@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos No flag, but we were proud of our achievement and bored our family who’d never heard of Barf before.

Looked like a cracking day for it. Did you go straight up the face of Barf via Slape Crag?
@FatBoysonTourHikingVideos Жыл бұрын
We didn't do slape crag on this occassion as mentioned in the video we visited the sculpture. We have done Slape crag in our previous videos of you wish to see it completed
