That interview had me so disappointed in Math Hoffa and the rest of the crew. NOBODY said anything to Fat Joe. NOBODY checked him, or pulled his coat or anything. I used to be fan of his, the older stuff. But he had people writing his hits in background. Let's not forget that DJ Khalid used holla the N word alot as well. Birds of a feather flock together. I don't believe that Fat Joe is racist, but i do believe that doesn't respect black people as a whole.

Those dudes are Caribbean, so they thought it was funny. They don't recognize as being a part of the lineage of this country like a Foundation Black Americans having been here for over 400 years.

To lack respect for a race of ppl as a whole, is the definition of racism. 🙄🤦🏿

Exactly bro. And I feel like some black people are scared of the Puerto Ricans in New York cuz they outnumber them. Now I'm from New York I'm from Brooklyn. Most of those guys that was in that barbershop was Caribbean. The most Caribbeans have a disdain for FBAs. That's why we call them tethers

Those in Hip Hop have no problem with them saying the N word neither do people in their hoods it's only a bunch of nobody's on the internet with an opinion on it your not a part of Hip Hop your opinion doesn't matter.

I don't think Lord Jamar is a legend by himself, the group Brand Nubian is a legendary group but Lord Jamar was the least popular in my eyes in the group. Grand Puba to me was the best out of the 3. And I take offense to you saying some of us Puerto Ricans try and act black, bro I grew up in the Bronx in the 70s and we definitely contributed to the culture. I don't look at the way we dressed or talked as trying to be black, that was the culture of the hood, not black culture. And don't take this as a defense of Fat Joe because I think he's a trash rapper who had a few hits and made good connections throughout his life.

Puerto Ricans assimilate Black culture but y'all didn't help us create it y'all were participants in our culture because Puerto Rican culture is not cool.

And make no mistake you people never helped us create anything and truthfully never wanted to have anything to do with us until you came to the realization that WE..............WE NOT YOU created something that LIE-TINOS could latch on to for your own benefit.

Contributing is one thing, creating is another. Joe said blacks and Caribbeans started rap 50/50. That’s just not true. We are not saying that y’all didn’t make some contribution, but to say that y’all created is historically inaccurate.

From a PR perspective where does hood culture end and black culture begin? The slang way of dressing the music... Bro all of it is black culture that you were exposed to by way of proximity of growing up in BX. You may not feel that is what it was but that's what it was.
