the only thing i wish my xr had is that "simple stop" the pint has so it dont go backwards when coming to a stop.

I have not tried anything but the simple stop. I’m going to try it on the new one wheel, but I’m a little scared to be honest. 🤣

@@BenderBeermansucks well the with simple stop, you should be LESS scared. Because you just can lean it all the way back to a stop ya know? Like on my XR, it dosent have that. So you have to still only lean back enough to stop, and while your lifting your heel up, it's very easy for it to go backwards, then forward again, it's a pain, and an accident waiting to happen if you aren't real good yet

Good vid, thanks for sharing. FYI - you're on a Pint, the range is 6-8 miles. I get those foot cramp pains too, helps to carve and also you may be "gripping" with your toes too much. To stop, you can try focusing on bending your front knee where your heel will naturally lift but you can feel more balanced

Hello my friend, thanks for the comment and my apologies for not catching it right away. I have not ridden a GT yet, from what I know about them they would be better for individuals of our size. But the price tag is a significant factor. My suggestion to you would be to find someone locally that will let you try there bored so you have a point of reference. I’m sorry I can’t be more help. I’m currently around 265-270ish, I haven’t stepped on a scale in a bit to be honest. It doesn’t have any issues with getting up to speed or stoping with me on it. The only thing that I have noticed that is affected is range. It supposed to have a 6-8 mile range, I think I’m getting around 4. It’s a lot of fun but I recommend getting all of the pads! I fell hard and scraped up my elbow pretty good 2 weeks ago.

As a person other people would also call a "fat man", I was curious as to how well the one wheel would work with me on it. [ EDIT: I have a Ninebot scooter that worked really well for many months, even with me on it, but now seems to take more and more time to get up to speed. (ca 20 mins) It's obviously a battery issue, but my Ninebot is way too new for it to be having such serious battery issues. - NOTE: This was due to an accidental change in a setting, while trying to turn the light on. I changed the setting back and now it's screaming fast - almost "too fast" lol ] That's why I'm curious about the one wheel and whether it would do the same. I weigh ca 230lbs and only want to go ca 15 to 20mph max speed. Short version: Thank you for posting this video!

Thanks for the comment! I’m about 265# and the pint has little issue getting up to speed with me on it. The battery life isn’t great with my Weight but the bigger boards have larger batteries and I would recommend one of them. I get a couple miles of ride time before I need to recharge. I have not noticed a significant drop in battery life in mine but it is a toy for me and not really a mode of transportation. I hope that helps! Cheers!

Recommendation for your safety, Put safety gear on especially wrist protectors. Get the heavy duty one because the fall will happen and it will creep up when you least expect it. When will be most likely at dismount. Speaking from experience really happy i was wearing wrist protectors because it 100% prevented a fractur. Good luck and happy riding. Also practice for a good half hour the dismount of all kind's of speed and positions. It will increase significantly your experience.

I get that, I’m pretty beat up as well but I’m also a pansy when it comes to the cold. 🤣 I ride as much as time allows, which is never enough.
