Yeah dude. Wtf. These 5 minute clips are weak compared to the old episodes. I listened to every episode on my way to work and I miss that. Sam really made the show a better overall experience. I loved them together, and the fact that Sam isn’t afraid to talk shit to Mike and put him in check kept the energy up. Bring back long-form episodes!

Dancing with the Curse to me is one of the best of all time. Tall Cans and Loose Ends is also incredible. Can't believe how much I've listened to that band. Dancing with the Curse was the soundtrack to my time living in an RV broke and on the road just making a living and seeing things/people around the country.

I remember always seeing the thumbnail for that music video and passing it up until one time I finally clicked on it saying "ok what the fuck is this shitty rap video all about" then I saw it was part of the fat wreck chords channel and got interested and let the video rock. After hearing the first 15 seconds of the song I was hooked and became a get dead fan. I loved how they added more to the intro on the album version too, so fucking rad

First of all, nice to see you Mike! 2nd "dancing with the curse' was my most listened to album of 2021. I had it on repeat for a solid week and now it still continues to get plenty of plays. 3rd you got some absolutely killer base riffs on Co-defendants tracks, some of my faves include Crime wave (the song) some weird and wonderful pedal set up???? but also Def Cons, Coda-Fendants FUCK! wow just wow. and Suckers, so dirty sounding! artistically you and Sam, making some brutiful music together. totes worth the crazy IMO.

So what actually happened with Get Dead? Post Covid everyone else hit the road and started touring on the albums they'd dropped... unless I'm missing something it seemed like Get Dead didnt. Sure, Sam did Co-Defendants which was cool, but career wise it seems like promoting the hell out of their album should have been priority. I suspect legal trouble, which is a shame as it seemed like they were potentially about to take off.
