I think the real reason why BobDoesSports doesn't get much hate is because they have great chemistry, they don't take themselves too seriously and they don't have constant ego battles. I don't think the same can be said about the ForePlay group, minus T daddy which is why he gets the amount of love he does. People can sense good character through videos and you can't fake that... this video is a good representation of that - just 2 dudes playing some golf and having some fun

As an golf sicko, this was an absolute joy to watch. Two absolute sticks rippin shooters, cracking jokes and making niche golf references. Nothing was forced or over the top. I love the perspective both these guys bring to the KZbin golf space. Foreplay content doesn’t usually cater to avid fans like me but this scratches the itch. The reason Bob Does Sports is SO loved is because they don't take themselves seriously (outwardly), they can laugh at themselves, they are each personable and the biggest factor... is their SINCERE love for one another. The reason bob does sports comment sections dont have the negativity that you see in this channels comment sections is because the characters on that channel are charismatic, relatable, and their content usually feels honest and unforced... bob and cold cuts suck and they own it, and FP is a beast and he constantly proves it. TBH its not really fair to compare yourselves to bob does sports considering bob himself happens to have one of the most magnetic and loveable personalities in the history of sports broadcasting. Mark my words, Bob will be the undisputed king of youtube golf within the next couple years unless CBS/NBC/ABC offers him a dump truck of money to do commentary for pro golf.

My take on the negativity is less about Fore Play being earlier to the market and more about the fact that it's almost become more golf coverage and less about dudes golfing. I liked Lurch and was sad to see him go, but I also think Rap brings more to the table as far as the coverage side of it goes. He was a well respected journalist for quite some time before he got this gig. It really just comes down to a very different type of golf youtube channel. I'm definitely a person that likes the coverage side of stuff (the podcast can be a bit long for my liking, but I watched the Good Good Championship in it's entirety because I wanna see the actual golf) so that may be the thing that sets the channels apart from each other. I follow like 10-12 KZbin channels that are golf related, so I get my fix regardless. Great match though boys, looking forward to more of this series (BustaJack and Grant Horvat are a must if you can make it happen).
