Fat Rear Tires for the Super Beetle Update

Change the skinny rubber band tires from the 205/40/17 to 215/50/17 rear tire for my Super Beetle, Update. Now it looks more like a RodderBug , plus it’s still not a 100% but it’s definitely a 100% better then it was .

That looks cool. I put G-60 15s on the back of my 70' Bug and they needed coil-over shocks to keep from rubbing. I liked the ride.

Nice looking bug. Always preferred 15 inch rims for ride quality. More sidewall better ride quality.

its 90% better ride then the 40s will be100% when i can do the fronts , between the drop and the 40s it rode like a chuck wagon

What type suspension you have in the front ? I try to install my 17 on my super beetle and they dot t fit with my stock front suspension . Any tips I really appreciate. Thank you

I have the top line or MP adjustable struts with the Top Line Sports Springs very actually taper in the middle to be able to fit the 17s if you find me on Facebook I'll give you the link for the spring and share pictures with you

@@RodderFiles I’m going to try fitting some 15 x 8 with an off set of 20 on mine. Still thinking of which tire should I use if a 195/60r15 or 205/60r15 what would be your advice on this?
