In English we never say "You have become fat" to mean "ඔයා මහත් වෙලා"
or "You have become thin" to say "ඔයා කෙට්ටු වෙලා". Instead we use phrases like You've put on a few pounds, You've gained a few pounds, You've gained some weight and You've put on some weight to say "ඔයා මහත් වෙලා" and phrases like "You've lost weight" to say ""ඔයා කෙට්ටු වෙලා". In this lesson you will be able to learn to use all these phrases along with phrases relating to dieting like "on a diet", "go on a diet", "stay on a diet" and "put someone on a diet"
