uhm i think spirit stones are used to upgrade ure camera, or is that only in fatal frame 2 XD i cant remember but yeah i think they upgrade your camera =p

Actually, if you are careful and attendive in FF2, you can find how 2 is closely related to 1. Its not obvious relations, but relations between people in 1 and people in 2. Essentially, people and spirits from 1 trace their origins to the events of 2.

In order to make that head ghost show up, you have to follow these steps: 1. After the man before the mirror shows up, pick up his lighter, then go to the fish pool to defeat that woman ghost immediately. After you got her, DON'T GO TO the bamboos area, go back to the lake instead. 2. Use the lighter to light up the lamp nearby the lake. 3. Go to the room at 12:10 of this video. 4. Go back to the room at 13:00, then the head should show up.
