🎮 Fatal Fury (Neo Geo) Complete Gameplay

in 1991 i walked into my local grocery store and noticed there was a new Neo Geo arcade cabinet. unfortunately i only had 1 quarter on me, so i was only able to play one time. i chose this game, and i died when i fought Tung Fu Rue. i never forgot him ripping his shirt off to reveal his ripped muscles and suddenly becoming a menacing old man that thoroughly kicked my ass quite unexpectedly. I never played the game ever again, as somehow, the next time i went to the store, the Neo Geo machine was gone. For some reason, i misremembered this game as being Art of Fighting, so it took me an extra long time to eventually find this video, after kinda sorta being on the lookout for it for over two decades. it was the one of the funnest fighting games and one of the best arcade games i ever played, despite only being able to play it one time. thanks for this video.

This game smells like childhood, i miss when i was little and stayed in Arcade playing it, whenever i see the game i come back in time and feel this feeling of childhood: there can be Psx 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10... in my Heart Neo Geo will still remain the best Videogame of all time !

The side stepping one cheap coward AI move. Plus it slowed down the gameplay cuz i had to wait for seconds for mr terry to land safely in one side the ground.

Have the MVSX and just got to geese. Must be on hard arcade mode because I had to continue a lot on a couple of characters. 3 or 4 hits and I would die. And it was learning timing just to get a hit in.

I have this game on Super Nintendo and it’s a little bit different. And the bonus area is not the same. I have part 1,2, and special edition. I don’t know if the special edition is part 3 but it’s a good game

Literally every great fighting game franchise had to start with a phase of sloppiness and clunkiness. Tekken 1, street fighters to name a few. This one was specially cheap for the sidestepping. It slowed down the whole game for me.

It's a good thing that SNK didn't show who did the sound in the closing credits, because the VOs are some of the worst I have ever heard in any video game and it's not even close. Like, whoever did the sound mixing for the voices in the first two Street Fighter III games would cringe at the voices in this game. Just downright horrible.

Phantasystar 87 Real Bout Fatal Fury Special is probably the best in the original series. Terry Bogard makes an appearance too.

The producer of Street Fighter 1, later moved to SNK and produced this game as well. Although Fatal Fury's concept feels more "Street Fighter" than Street Fighter series itself.
