This musical theme is so good that it elevates the character to a level of depth that he doesn't actually have. Nothing is ever really said in the games about Geese having any kind of feeling about his abilities as a fighter; he's sort of colored as "Generic Evulz Badguy For ProtagonistGuy To Get Revenge On", and that's really it. This makes him sound like "I'll be gosh-danged if I'm gonna take that L lying down Bogard, you're getting a Double Reppu Ken up your nose, get ready biznatch"

For real, this theme is unusually powerful for a character that really doesn't have a lot of anything going on. Especially compared to the other themes in the game.

@@neoasura Totally. There are lots of other good musical themes in SNES FF Special; Kim Kaphwan's, Tung Fu Rue's, Andy Bogard's, Billy Kane's themes are all notable. But fighting Geese feels climactic cuz of this music; it's head-and-shoulders above an already pretty good soundtrack. For a SNES port of a Neo Geo game, they could have just said "Well the SNES' sound samples aren't gonna have that high of a bitrate anyway, we can just slack off" but they didn't and that's really impressive in a way that having overpowered technical specs at your disposal isn't. They didn't take the lower fidelity of the SNES sound chip as an excuse not to care, and bravo to them for that.

The Super NES version of Geese's theme music is a gazillion times better than the original arcade version. In fact, I would argue that this version of Geese's theme music is way way better than even his Tekken 7 theme.

Acho que nunca saberemos o motivo, talvez alguma limitação técnica do chip de áudio do Snes... O fato é que a versão de SNES é a única que tem essa peculiaridade, o que acaba dando até um charme a mais pra música, ao meu ver.

Acho que foi questão de deixar a música como uma versão "exclusiva" do Super Nintendo. Fatal Fury Special tem algumas músicas que são diferentes ou arranjadas quase totalmente diferentes das versões de fliperama. O tema do Axel é exclusivo do SNES, e por sinal muito melhor que do fliperama. Temos esse tema do Geese diferente (eu prefiro a versão do KOF 96), a música do Jubei Yamada também tem muita diferença do fliperama, e mais uma vez a do SNES é melhor.

bruno couto acho q foi p poupar memoria do cartucho porque o chip de som do snes n deu todo o seu potencial até um hack descobrir o Msu q usa todo o potencial do chip de som com uma qualidade de musica de CD

Essa música do SNES tem a melhor versão do tema do bbb Geese. Não só nesse jogo, as versões das músicas de Art of Fighting 1 e 2 são melhores no SNES do que do próprio Neo Geo. Lembro também que Power Instinct tinha umas versões melhores que a do arcade
