While I’m not a huge connoisseur of high contrast/graphic fashion, I think Valentino was able to balance it with softness and fluidity. This to me felt like the most concise vision since his pink show. There was a youthful quality, a coolness that felt almost contrived but was believable, tons of wearability, classic Valentino romanticism, and above all a chicness. This show feels less affected by external voices and felt true. That’s when the house does it’s best work.

BUONGIRONO! This is what I live for. Have always approached design with timeless classics lines, with an EDGE‼️ Follow the flow of cohesiveness and almost revamped lines/silhouettes. With a little featured hip Wednesday Addams chic couture! HA! Absolutely L❤VED IT‼️ Inspired me for a revamped Resort version of it with cotton voiles, linens and achromatic textures and lux buttery cotton solid and sheer jersey and multi gauge ribs. Am ON IT! Smashing collection. Exceedingly relevant and youthful while issuing a bit of a course-correct to the recent trend of overtly monstrous garments, mainly footwear (subjectively speaking). Both women’s and men’s looks were executed to perfection. While rifting on the punk rock / goth aesthetic, the collection is decidedly sophisticated. Looks designed for a very lux evening out, or in for that matter. It would be well-deserved commercial success. I’d wear almost all of it. TDF. It’s also refreshing to see models make it down the runway in one piece without tripping over their own garments or truly struggling in ill-fitting shoes. This collection proves that looks can be both of extraordinary caliber and a higher degree of functionality.

Before making a collection, they have prepared & researched for the market potential based on age / style / regions & customers. I think they did it for a real purpose, big fashion house wouldn’t have done anything silly. Valentino has significantly changed their style for few years , If they made a big loss then I dont think they could keep up wasting money on those punk outfits. They are aiming for a younger market where Genz is spending more on their stuffs, rather than middle-age women. I love the old Valentino but then fashion is changing every day. We have to accept & look for new things coming
