Absolutely beautiful. Romantic, feminine and extremely Oscar. I hope this satisfies the critics enough so Laura and Fernando can really try to nail out their own signatures. I see the Renaissance in some of the appliqué and some of the textiles, but I see the 50's in the shapes...the combination is very modern. I don't think its the most youthful collection, some of the heavy draped pieces were a little "mature", but I'm sure some street style savvy socialite can freshen them up.

You nailed it. I was enthralled throughout. Some of the botanical and animal fabrics were decidedly mature, but for this 57 year old, the nostalgic feel was a sheer pleasure. Classic style...stunning!!!
