Beautiful collection. She's not reinventing the wheel here, nothing we haven't seen before in some iteration but she's staying true to the house and to her own unique vision while giving us elegant, "wearable" garments that will look good on women of various sizes. I thought the styling was nice too.

I love the leather gloves, long plaid skirts and black socks and heels combo. Animal print is usually not my vibe, but I would definitely get behind this. The final ones are so beautiful with the crowns. It's giving "queen of the forest".

wow such gorgeous production design and uninmaginable time and resources spent, all to send THAT collection down the runway - uninspiring & unflattering silhouettes and sad, drab prints. by the end i felt thoroughly depressed, I hope never to see another iteration of that watercolor-ish print ever again in this lifetime.

I mean, the clothes are fine. I like the cropped parkas...in fact the outerwear is really the standout here. I don't know, it just seems kind of morose in a way. Everything sort of fits, but not enough. Everything is sort of pressed, but also not at all. The proportions seem like an afterthought, but maybe they're finely tuned to her vision. The color palette (or lack thereof) is just the most broken of records. Maria Grazia really needs to step outside the box in some way at some point. I keep waiting for her to surprise me, and yet its always the relaxed Dior silhouette, its always in this black/white/navy story, its always a bit boho. We have people who are really shaking things up like Daniel Roseberry, Daniel Lee, Matthieu Blazy. There's nothing wrong with being approachable and practical....but the runway is to stand out from the pack.

I am genuinely horrified at the total lack of connection between the set (props, music, lighting) and the actual clothes. The set (while beautiful) completely failed to support the clothes, it's such a shame. Last season was just exquisite, it all came together beautifully.

I confess I paid more attention to the set than the clothes. The set was interesting-- psychedelic but dark. Dark, depressing atmosphere didn't really show the clothes off. The models looked depressed and like they just pulled people off the streets. If there was a famous model in there, I didn't recognize them. I'm sure the clothes were probably nice but the lighting didn't help me see what they even looked like.

What is the appeal of Dior under MGC ? I see beautiful, wearable, "no personality" clothes. It's not sexy, its not radical, its not sporty, its not minimalist, its not maximalist, its not androgynous, its not ultra feminine, its none of these distinctive aesthetics. It's just well made clothes that could be from any luxury label far less famous than Dior. If you're wearing Dior, shouldn't you expect something more than the luxury version of Uniqlo ? The set is way more interesting to look at than what their actually selling.

@@EricJohnson-ky9uh I find Dior more wearable than Valentino. Valentino is way to out there for me. Dior looks classic and wearable. I don’t like every piece from every collection, but there’s a lot to work with. Valentino is for tall, avant-garde people.

YAWN 😴🥱😴. I stopped watching halfway through the show. I’m sure some luxurious and expensive fabrics were used, but the designs are simply not landing, the silhouettes are too simple, and some even unflattering. It’s potentially a red flag when there’s lavish set design, somewhat cool worldly music, young models, a star studded guest list. Those things trying to make up for what’s lacking in the clothes.

Most of these fashion shows, the clothes are beautiful. Only thing I hate are the model's faces! They look like they hate the clothes they're wearing. They need to either have a slight smile or neutral look. But I wouldn't buy these clothes just because of that! If you look at the Armani or Ralph models, they look happy and enjoy wearing their clothes!
