That's a normal effect from the game, and it just happens when Fatalis slams into any part with water in the area :)

@@Pauchiiing0727 It's from a mod on nexusmods.com named "critical efx colors", note that it's mainly to change your critical effect color, but some of the colors come with extra files that change the frostcraft effect colors for GS and LS as well (it doesn't work on other weapons D:)

The item Adamant Pill not only gives you additional %defense but it also gives you wind resist, which is insanely useful in a hitless run like this :D

Genuine question cause I’ve seen other people do it too. 0:35 why do players turn the monster without flinch shotting? Is it just to aggro? But once you flinch shot the monster aggros anyway so why not get some damage in? Also omg that prediction at 3:50 is crazy

With TA Wiki Ruleset, you are not allowed to flinch shot the monster, the same goes for wallbangs. There are other restrictions that come with this ruleset such as artillery being prohibited, etc. It's a very subjective ruleset, but it's just the standard category besides the "freestyle" category which you can use anything you want to use. So yeah, in TA wiki ruleset, it's best to just triple slap the monster since you can't wallbang it anyway, BUT by no means is that the best dps option in regular gameplay. Getting a wallbang on Fatalis does 2% of its maximum HP, while also dealing part dmg to the head. There is also the option to dps during the enrage roar if you dodge it (you can also take advantage of it, like with LS, triggering foresight slash off the roar and reaching the next gauge level). In regular play, you should stick with wallbanging Fatalis for a good chunk of damage dealt :)
