To be fair, Fatalis is hinted to have some strong mind corrupting hax and also omega regen/near immortality in various lore pieces(mostly its armor/weapon descriptions). It’s just hard to implement those fairly in a gameplay environment. Imagine you’re fighting Fatalis, and bring it down to 10% health, only for it to take a nap and shoot up to full health in a matter of seconds. Or you’re hunting it with your friends when all the sudden one of them loses control of their hunter, who then starts chain tripping the remaining three with their long sword spirit combo.

Mmmh, considering the fact there is about 150 - 200, give or take, damage done before the 950 ticks, a few additional monsters die to this nova. Though I think they would all die in it's second nova because of higher damage, I feel like. Still kinda mesmerizing to see these huge numbers melt in a few seconds like this. Nice vid^^

But for the gameplay experience, it can't do that.(Except you give it over 200K health) Because how broke Fatalis is. The multi hits, the ultimate attack(which deals over 60K damage in the second time) and the 66K hp. Shara Ishvalda(event version) probably can beat it. But the chance is low.

If I remember rightly half of what makes this attack so devastating is that it ignores armor and resistances. Which is why it's so crucial that you hide behind literal steel structures instead of just stand behind the lance main. It's True Damage the whole way through.

Master Rank Lunastra has way too much health. I had to fight both her AND a very, very angry Teostra. I uh....cut off his tail before I went to find Lunastra. Right as I break Lunastra's crown, I slowly pan my camera around to see an absolutely livid Teostra charging at me with murderous rage in his eyes and hatred for me in his heart. I was in full Fatalis armor with my True Fatalis End Switch Axe, just wailing on Lunastra after snuffing The Emperor's flame, my partner shows up, also in full Fatalis armor, just pelting the Empress with his HBG. After Lunastra gets up from all that, I just lost it and went on a hateful rant about her health pool. As I'm ranting, Lunastra one-shots me. I get back to the fight, and my partner lands the killing blow.

Uragaan, Zinogre, Lavashit, the Garugas, Savage, Seething, Teostra, Kushala, Lunastra, Blackveil, Ruiner, Nami, and Velkhana. That are the Monster I lead into Battle against him. @Taro Firstly, thanks it was something a subscriber suggested long time ago and we finally got around to making it. I haven't actually tested the horn break impact on the first two nova that fatalis does; but I think they will be full damage regardless; just because of how these two initial nova's that fatalis does are tied to phase changes in the battle. Most if not all elders will survive the phase 3 nova (regardless of horn break) because it is capped at a much lower level.

By following your logic, every monster skulls that Daimyo Hermitaur and Shogun Cenataur wears are the adult ones, while the living version of said skull which are Gravios, Monoblos, Glavenus etc, that we can hunt ingame are still babies / juvenille monsters.
