The worst part of it all is that the media refused to mention the check swing call until the game Sunday afternoon. Then they would only continue repeat how “tough” a call it was to make in that situation. But isn’t it the umps job to make that call, no matter how “tough” it is? By not making that call there you’re not being impartial, you’re clearly favoring one team with your no-call. And that favoring is in part what cost FSU that game.

The 0-2 pitching has been horrible most of the season. Link has mentioned Jamie's problem with it many times. Similarly getting a third out in an inning has been a struggle for this team. It seems there is lack of a closer mentality. Yesterday of course being the exception. That was a beautiful double play.

I cannot figure how FSU entered as the eighth seed to have to play the number one seed. That, to me, is the biggest question

Guessing the Super Regionals is the final zseeding for the CWS. Guess that makes sense (after giving it some thought) so I am good with the process. At least five more games to take the trophy home. Go Noles!

FSu should have 2 nattys in CWS... as alumni who wentto Martins baseball camp late 80$ and went to omaha in 90s with Drew teams.... Martin was Patrick Ewing Jim Kelly... Early 90$ Braves.... Bridesmaid.. tight playing was the RULE in June
