@Sinan Tagay the story in septem/okeanos/london singularities is known to be mediocre at best and a turnoff for new players, then from camelot onwards it gets impressively better! It's like night and day, really. It's also the reason they were skipped and didn't get anime adaptations, while babylonia got a full anime and camelot gets movie adaptations.
@demigodz69444 жыл бұрын
@Sinan Tagay Dude, comparing Singularities 1-5 to the later Singularities and to the Lostbelts is like a huge insult to the latter ones. The entirety of FGO fandom found the first 5 Singularities as mediocre and that everything starts becoming epic at Camelot. It'll become even more better later on. FGO Part 2, Cosmos in the Lostbelt, have top-notch stories and with characters that were given top-tier character development. A single Lostbelt chapter can even cause lots of story discussions in FGO community just because of how good was it. Kinoko Nasu, founder of Type-Moon, spearheaded in writing the stories starting at Camelot. The fans demanded back then that they didn't want just waifus/husbandos and gacha but also quality story. And Nasu listened.

The humans of Lost Belt Scandinavia were the opposite of Lost Belt Russia. In Russia the people were wild, every day was a struggle for survival, and only the strongest will live to old age. They lived in fear of their ruler to the point where they would tattle on misfits. Scandinavia humans lived short but very peaceful lives free from fear and predation behind protective walls until a person's ordained day. The same tradeoff we modern humans impose on livestock, but nonetheless reciprocating the care and love they received from their ruler. I miss Gerda so much, i wish we were there to give her a proper farewell when she opened her door.

Nah, Napoleon monologuing for days bored the hell out of me. He even has time to do it again while he's dying somehow. Then Sigurd & Brynhildr do the same thing. It's cliché and slows everything down. It's also just pure wankery on the Servant's part. Imagine watching Unlimited Blade Works and then having to deal with every Servant talking an epic's worth of dialogue, you'd get fed up by the time it came down to the last Servant's death. Imagine Gilgamesh having a good ol' chat with Shirou about his values and what he believes in after being headshotted by Emiya lol. I mean yeah, the original cast all had something to say before dying, but it was short n' sweet, and to the point, didn't slow down the story in any negative way and was impactful. More dialogue does not = a better story.

Almost the whole lb I was like "how the f*ck can you say that?! How the F can I say THAT?!!!" while press choice for a reply. Its, idk, very cliché maybe, or you could say that it not fell real enough for the situation. Like at the first fight w the envoys, when we met Napoleon, the whole fight happenned, we jump into the tradition ritual of those people w/o really knew it, and then, we and Mash, said "Whoops, sorry im too reskless, guess this just a misunderstanding haha" and done. I was like "The f*ck. You're lucky that it doesnt have any really nasty conserquences on those ppl for ur unthought actions! U cant just do sth like that then say sr when it turn out it not like what on the eyes!!! And this's not the first time it happen either!" The sr feel so hollow man. He got me crying like a hydro pump at that scene. Napoleon just has this charm and charisma that makes you feel kind of light ish and makes you wanna rely on him. Like things are gonna be okay. He's a Heroic Spirit of wishes. Our job as Masters is to lead the battlfield both story wise and gameplay wise. In the story, we've sacrificed so much up to this point. Humanity's future. Mash's first death. Romani's erasure. Momma Vinci's assassination. Chaldea is destroyed. The earth is now a blank slate and we can only move forward to take back what we at least know of. Our history is gone. Our planet is gone. Our mountaintop observatory is gone. Our comrades will never be the same. We lose and we gain. We cry and we laugh. For me, it has been the absolutely greatest pleasure to know Napoleon. He knows what it's like. He's led in the battlefield before. He's also like a senpai to us when it comes to it, especially because we can learn from him. He knows what it means to sacrifice for victory-- to carry the responsibility of lives that we carry on our back. When Napoleon was saying his speech, I was in tears. It's like finally meeting that one person who understands your more than anyone else. As a person, we have so many people and Servants to have our backs. But Napoleon truly understood what it meant to lead. To carry the weight of the decision. He made it feel like anything was possible. I think he made me think about the way Servants might feel around the Master. He's more experienced and very talented, yes, but oh-so-very human and isn't afraid to be himself. Napoleon speaks up for himself, allows others to speak, and is willing to take burdens on his back. He makes it feel like hope is somethkng that truly exists and is something to cling onto. He's a really good guy to be around. Napoleon accepts anyone and everyone and dreams BIG. He's the Goodfellow of Everlasting Ice and Flame.

@@beng3360 What I will say is my own interpretation: Logically speaking, yes it is needless to save them or anything. I don't remember where but it is explained that it is what the cypher would have done in the part 1 singularity if they were alive at that time, while the protagonist and mash are far more the "dumb idealist" type that cannot stand of seeing someone die before them, and are more driven by their emotions than logic (despite how hard the game try to make us believe that we are the protagonist, he still have his own personality). This is also part of the parallel between the heroic protagonist in a world of heroes against the cold blooded logic of the cypher, and maybe by extend There is also the possibility that it may help emotionally to meet and remember the people that we made disappear, even if it hurt at first. But I'm not sure about that And even if it is not the most efficient, like really, at the end of solomon it had proven to be useful since all the heroic spirits that we helped, that the cypher wouldn't even bother with since they would be able to solve the singularities alone, and maybe they would have gotten stuck against the infinite demon pillars.
