True; Ishtar is...unstable. She really can be kind and lovely, befitting the Lady of the Gods. But at the same time, she can be cruel and vindictive. Ask Enkidu... Fusing with Rin mellows her out immensely, and while the ratio isn’t perfect, Rin does temper her more...unpleasant traits. Amusingly enough, it’s thanks to Rin that Ishtar can even self-reflect in such a manner. While Ishtar views Rin as ‘part of myself’, she’s smart enough to realize that she’d be a fundamentally different person without Rin, at least on some level. Hence why she’s able to call Rin an amazing girl; Archer wouldn’t give a crap about a random Goddess, but he’d go above and beyond for a single mortal girl.

Oh man how much I love reading this comic over and over again. This plus the shirou x Rin post ubw fan comics are my favorite seeing how they are after the events of ubw. For saber it's the salter with shirou adopted by kirie and becomes a priest as it's very well done. Sakura face the melt series of comics are fantastic to read. For Sakura guess the post ubw one of sakuras perspective is wonderful to read and wish it was Canon as like Rin in hf it's a good see on the sisters pov to shirou dating the other girl Illya would be the emiya family comic

Personally I prefer LArtoria x Garcher. They're both different from they're other/past selves and are more mature both physically and mentally. No matter how old Saber is it doesn't change the fact that her body stopped aging at like 15, and thus even at the end of her life she still had the brain development and structure of a teenage girl. A very experienced teenage girl, but a teenage girl all the same.
