Okay, I'm going to just put this out there but WHY IS FATE NOT CLEAR WHETHER USHI WAS A MAN OR WOMAN IN FATE HISTORY?! There are a lot of genderbends where it states their gender is different in Fate History, like Saber, or they are summoned as a woman through various reasons, like Foreigner Molay....They explain history did coverups for why that person is a woman or even something else entirely, or like Nobbu and Musashi, they come from an alternate timeline. But Ushiwakamaru? We're told that Ushi is female in Fateverse, but THEN they reveal that not only was Shizuka, his concubine, established, but they EVEN establish that CHITOSE MARU is canon in the Fate timeline. Chitose maru, Yoshitsune's biological son. The only hint is that Kiichi Hogan might have changed Ushi into a man using tengu magic to fit in with most samurai, cause they established Kiichi Hogan was a tengu who would become a wife or a husband depending on her mood.

Fate's Ushi is undoubtedly a woman in its main timeline. She parties with Shizuka but there's no child ever mentioned there. If the kid's in the nasuverse, it's likely from an alternate timeline, tho I am curious where the child was mentioned in canon.

@@otakudaikun She is definitely a born woman in the Nasuverse, but its debatable if she died a woman in the Nasuverse. The Avenger version of her is an Kagekiyo aberration, especially since she would never choose to be a proper male samurai if she hated the genji in life as much as Kagekiyo. The part where you said no child is mentioned is incorrect, female Yoshitsune mentions his biological son Chitose Maru in Hsien-kyo, completely in the context of him being his son of his consort/wife. Hsien-kyo is a singularity/lostbelt hybrid but the Kagekiyo from there is decidedly born female just like main Fate Ushi, and the singularity and lostbelt aspects would not effect a servant summoned a few hundred years from the future. The Kagekiyo part would be the only thing effecting the summoning. And despite being female as Ushi, he had a biological son with his consort as Yoshitsune. Chitose Maru is not even in all historical records so Nasu could of easily not mentioned him, but he was mentioned by a Yoshitsune who was decidedly female when she was Ushiwakamaru but somehow had a child with his consort. Raises a lot of questions if it wasnt for the fact that, like Artoria, she had a mentor with gender magecraft that could fix the whole 'no heir' issue. (Scathach is on that list as well considering she offered to give Gudako the Merlin treatment for Kiyohime with her runes in Summer 1)

Hsien-Kyo, Act 12, Genji Killer (Second Half) Kagekiyo/Yoshitsune is exploring all her memories as Yoshitsune before crossing the bridge that looks similar to Benkei's bridge, as it triggered her nostalgia and memories. About 30 seconds before Kintoki appeared and started acting out the part of Benkei, Yoshitsune's memories of Shizuka appear and Shizuka mentions escaping with her unborn child of Yoshitsune, Chitose Maru. Chitose Maru is the child of Yoshitsune in real life, although not 100% confirmed and isn't wildly known due to being mentioned only in a couple historical records. He is also more commonly known as Keiwakamaru.

I'm on book four right now, which includes: Medea and Sakura cooking with Shirou. Learning that Taiga's grandfather likes sumo and boar hunting, and Saber got reminded of Gawain's mashed potatoes. Illya get's a flashback to her time with her mother, after she eat Brownies with walnuts. Saber and Sakura cooks for Shirou, who somehow can get sick. Lancer safes Shirou from a wild boar, which get put on the meny. Abd finally, Saber Alter says that Shirou's normal food is disgusting.

I'm just trying to sell you on the manga, because there is more than enough things, which can be turned into memes in those books, and any part of Fate, where Shinji is less of a jerk, and Archer Gilgamesh wins at carnival games, only to give the prizes to Kirei, who haven't shown his face yet, because Shirou won that lion-pluse, that Saber wanted. Food Wars are more about becoming the best chef, while Emiya Family is more about loving life and cooking for fun, or at lest that how I have come to see it. Maybe Soma is a version Shirou, who didn't lose everything back in the fire, and his cooking skills comes from an unknown form of magecraft? Ps. If Soma somehow became a servent, what class would he be? His NP would give a-lot of buffs, maybe give random debuffs to enemies, (especially if they are female)
