Fate Route Illya Analysis

Fate/ Stay Night has many interesting characters. Rin, Saber, Sakura, and Shirou of which have all had their characters explored at length. Illya, you should put it together if I make that Illyasviel Von Einzbern, hasn't had the same luck however. In each route glimpses of her core can be seen, as well as a different side to her in each story. Part one of what will become this exhaustive video essay covers her role in the Fate route, in which we see Illya with her thickest "mask" on.

Ilya is like mysterious loli character, Despite her small impacted in UBW route. The route explores more masks and ideas of the character creating a climactic resolution.

gotta say i am surprised but quite pleased to see an actual character analysis video on Illya. Her character role always interested me and I wish she wasn't swept under the rug so much because there was so much narrative and potential to it. I wish there was more stuff like this out there. I have to say I'm honestly surprise that this video is really well thought out and it's awesome plus I'm a huge fan of Illya besides Shirou Rin and Sakura for many years so thank you for this I've been waiting so long for someone to show why Illya is amazing! Thanks! I've always has some lingering question about Illya like why didn't she kill Shirou at the start of each route or why she has such a sudden change in personality after that. This gives me a new perspective of her character and I hope to see more from your future videos

It's weird how I endlessly praise the old Higurahis Anime and hate on the new shiny look of Gou. But for Fate/ I have trouble seeing Deen's animation as anything more then cheaper compared to UFOtable. At least Seh is in both Dubs unlike some other character didn't get their ideal English voice till UFOtable.
