I'm pretty sure the top row of heroes including Marjana, and Quintin come with costumes. Gefjon, Heimdall, Sif, Zimkitha, and others appear to come with their costumes as well?

None of the heroes come with costumes, unfortunately. They are showing you the absolute max power of the hero (with double limit break, full emblems, and costume bonus), but it doesn't come with any of those (including the costume). That's a great question, though, and the picture is misleading that way.

Very comprehensive breakdown, thanks. Imo, Zeline's primary use now is in a world farming team where her fast attack-down might be needed against grunts who have around 3k attack. I think the main use for Mok-Arr back in the day was in a mono purple titan team next to Khiona where his special would power up her special, raising attack stats all round.

Great video! Thank You! 😊👍 my top 4, if I ever get 400summons in 6 months lol I like #1 Sif (always wanted her), #2 Inari #3 Gimble #4 Malosi ...is Gefon a viable candidate in your opinion to be #5? I have Loki (he's terrific on offense), have Bera (she's great against waterpipe, if you have good support for her) and Hiemdall costume (the costume version revives alot more frequently). Love how you explain your choices.

Yes, Gefjon would be my next in line. She is a solid hero, but at #5, she's worth it even if for no other reason than to prep her for when you get costume later. At some point, I see them dropping the costume portal to make room for other events and just giving everyone the costume version in every event. Her minion steal is great on attack because the defense can't prepare for it, and you can swipe some good minions nowadays

I know. It was the card on the E&P website, but I wasn't reading the card as if they were max stats. Maxed out his revive is only 20%. C Heimdall is great, but no one should grab regular Heimdall, thinking he's even a fraction as good.

I almost have enough to pull from the current fated summon, can I get anyone’s advice on whether or not I should grab Tarlack for Titan hits or should I wait until the next fated summon to grab one of these, I have none of the ones you mentioned were good. Thanks in advance

I'd say that it's a toss-up between Inari and Ariel. Tarlac is more of a luxury once your roster is filled out. Do you need healers more or defensive specialists?

Very thorough review, yeah "talked to death" but gives me reasons to pause. I had seen the list a bit ago and had decided that I would get Grimble to fill my anti-minion hero role but now reconsidering if Bera would be a better choice. I only have Gobbler who I leveled up to defeat Season 4 Boss but even with some emblems he's too squishy. I'm considering LB, possibly 2nd LB Gobbler and get Bera from Fated Summons, my count is 96 currently, then maybe Lord Loki the next time.

I think Bera is more versatile because she just stops the minions from coming out altogether. Grimble is harder to use, bc if you charge other colors first, then they kill the minions, and if you take dark hitters, then they all charge simultaneously with Grimble. Grim also doesnt work well against heroes that spawn 3 minions or minions that cut mana. Grim is good, but Bera is much more "everyday" usable.

@@sdinaro1 I think Grimble is way better for everyday usage if you have the right heroes to pair with him. The ideal team for Grimble would probably be one with Ludwig and Alfrike. You go up against a minion tank like Bera, Freya, Hulda, Papyros, Arco, whatever. You let the tank fire and remove the 5 minions using Grimble's special. With the right mana troops, that will charge Ludwig and Alfrike. At that point, you've basically won. Something like that seems to be the most reliable way of using Grimble. Your team with Khufu and Malin has one big problem: It needs multiple layers of minions to work. That means either the opponent needs to have multiple minion heroes on the team or you need the tank to fire twice before the flanks and wings fire once. That's not possible in some cases. Grimble's one main advantage over Bera is that once the minions are there, Bera's ability is kind of useless while Grimble's ability is only actually useful after the minion hero on the opposing team fires. With most most minion heroes, it's not a huge difference whether you counter them before or after they summon the minions, so if you have Grimble charged before the minion hero, you can just hold him. If I remember correctly, you've talked about the spectrum of boards in some video before. If you get a 7/10 board, you'll generally have your heroes charged earlier than if you get a 5/10. (Disclaimer: Obviously, whether the numbers are accurate or not depends on which troops are on the heroes and how the board is played. The only thing about the numbers that matters is that 7>5.) So with the 7/10 board, you have Bera or Grimble charged before Hulda. With Bera, you use her, block the minions, counter successful. With Grimble, you play some tiles into Hulda, she fires, you remove the minions and get mana. Counter successful. Now if you get a 5/10 board, you only get Bera/Grimble when Hulda has already fired. You fire Bera, her minions hit, but they can't prevent the minions that are already there. Counter unsuccessful, you're just no match for the power of a bad board. Grimble, however, still removes the minions and gives mana. Maybe you can even get Hulda to fire a second time for more mana. Counter successful. The other, imo even more important, advantage is that Grimble is a good minion counter, even when there's no minion counter needed. I've thought about where minion counters are needed a lot developing a minion tank strategy for the alliance I'm in. There two different types of minion heroes: Those that summon minions with either a lot of health (Freya, Arco etc), a powerful minion ability (Waterpipe, LotL, Sun Quan etc) or both (Hulda, M&M etc) and those whose minions are more of a side effect. My prime example for the latter would be Peppermint. She summons minions, but they get 7% health and 10% attack with no extra abilities. Her main ability is dealing damage. Against heroes like Peppermint, Bera isn't really too important as the minions are effectively just a bit of health that happens to hit you for a usually disregardable amount of damage. Grimble's mana gain is still very powerful. Heroes that spawn 3 minions are a thing to consider, but there aren't really that many of them. I treat the mana-cutting minions differently to other minions anyway. Out of the best counters for Waterpipe, only Topaz is really a minion counter.

A good range of analysis, although I don't think the analysis of Heimdall is fair since you were using an unlevelled version where the stats and specials have not been maxed.

Heimdall isn't a bad hero, but he is slow and his revive is pretty low, which makes him more of a luxury hero as opposed to a staple hero. For players with very limited rosters, I think the heroes I recommended have across the board utility. But he is a good hero.

You're right, I just had Sobek on the brain. Substitute him with literally any other blue hero and what I said makes sense 😆. Actually I also said Grimble's passive works against silence, but it actually works against "Blind". I'll get everything right eventually 👍

Mitsuko reflects blue specials. Since the attack from hippo isn't a special it's a result of a buff then she won't reflect. It's the same concept as the war pig gullenbursti his attack bypasses taunt and won't get reflected by ursena

@dricaneandros9602 thanks! I asked the people in my alliance and they didn't seem to know, maybe you would. The springvale heroes all come with debuffs that read undispellable but if you used a defense up heroes special after Killhare, for example, would the new buff overwrite the debuff like usual or does "undispellable" mean it also can't be overwritten? Everyone hates them because of their debuffs so I'm trying to figure out if I should save my EHT for a different seasonal event, those multihitters look enticing

I've been trying to find someone who definitively knows that answer, but I haven't seen anything yet. If it doesn't carry over, then that would completely undermine its entire purpose, so I'm going to "guess" that it will. If it doesn't on the first day, I'm pretty confident that they'll fix it... Ugh, I hope this is wrong. I have all but 2 of these (Gefjon & Zimkithia) but even then these are all so old now as to be irrelevant. Mok-Arr is only slightly less terrible than Salmon Loki despite repeated buffs. Had him for years and have never bothered to waste a single hero leveling him.
