Just listening... What ekse can be said? What of the most beatiful and inspiring hard rock song covered by one of the most unique band in the metal history!!! This cover is literally crystal clean, probably the closest one to the original spirit of the song!

I just wanna say this: SCORPIONS with ULI JOHN ROTH !!! From "Fly to...", "In tr ...", "Virgin k ...", "Taken by ..."- the best albums Scorpions ever made, no offense(in my opinion only). For years I listen to the bands staff!!! "Lonesome crow" with M. Schenker ( specially the first song from the album), I like it very much as well! Somehow Uli J. R. seems like very unfairly underrated SUPER guitar player !!! No doubt about that! With him on guitar Scorpions was THE SCORPIONS!!! It reminds me a lot of Mike Oldfield`s carrier for example! Mike made the best releasing in 80-ties many hit songs( To France, Five miles out, Moonlight shadow, ...) , where his best music he made started with "Tubular Bells"("The Exorcist" movie) .. , "Incantations", .... I do respect Scorpion`s later staff, BUT ...! It`s just me, me only! By the way, the drummer from The Scorpions( in the middle of 70-ties) joined another German fantastic band ELOY( i always called ELOY- "the German Pink Floyd", not only me- many more, those years). THE BEST TIMES!!! My regards to all of you!!! THE SCORPIONS= THE LEGEND !!! There was another, but from Comm. Hungary called "SCORPIO" ??? Hard - prog. style in 70-ties! Again , regards Thomas(Poland-then, Chicago- many years now). Uli John Roth, I hope , you will stop by in Chicago soon ( I can wait) !!! I know you will!!! "Fly to the rainbow" live, man, this is it!!! " In trance", "Polar nights", "Live is like a river", ... Gotta go! Bye! VIELEN DANK SCORPIONS !!!

Though I disagree on some points, I love U.J.R. too. I love all Scorp albums pre 90 and none after, sigh. But i would have loved to see the 80's albums with UJR influence.

this is the first time i heard such a good cover of my favorite band The Scorpions. Im soo impressed by Fates Warning. I remember them from when i was in High School but never really cared to listen to them. I wonder what I've been missing all these years ?
