Wow! Such Dedication! She does fly amazing and is fast on 4k battery! But as I warned folks early the gear situation is just kinda the only weak link. It’s as if the planes design doesn’t have enough space to keep it from tearing up the fuselage on a bad landing. I’m going to have to 3Dprint up something to keep that front fuse & gear assembly sturdy. Or move on to the AF MiG 17 90. The fuse replacement cost is a bit steep with all the needed materials to finish it correctly. 😢

Totally agree! i just love this plane and the nose gear is the weakest in the fondation as you said.

Excellent flight. I have two of these because my wife's favorite. I broke both the same way. Front landing gear collapse . Used tons of E6000 and reinforced the corners on the landing gear pocket with strips of plastic (polystyrene).

I've become a Freewing fan, after owning E-flite and FMS and Freewing, its Freewing in a landslide for me on quality and they make the planes I want to purchase.

Completely agree i am gradually selling of my E-flit stuff and saying in the Freewing, FMS, and Arrows area. and i have another Kavan Coming and that is a real quality brand!

Ive agreed with you and I have to reconfig mine also. My rates and all was messed up on my first flight so the guys at my field are going to make it all good!! When I flew it first it was so hard to fly. and fms settings were way off

I try to use the manual setting but after all is said and done I lock it in after I fly her!!

Oh trust me it is insane and WAY too much! FT does some cool stuff. I have the new Viggen and a F-22 I just have not fired up the hot glue to do them yet.

Wow what a story behind this model! Sorry for that loss but I can’t understand what caused loosing signal. Short circuit in the Bec or Receiver? Until now I was 0% interested on this F-86. But slowly I’m getting there 😅 She is indeed beautiful and she flies so nice and gentle!! Nice flair also! I’ll need to sort and reduce my Hangar :( So no Sabre for me (yet) 🤣 Happy flights! Today I received a new SD card to film properly :)

Cool on the SD card, as for the unfilmed crash , no I went through a very dense patch of low fog and it was a wet ad foggy morning already. When I got to the crash the receiver, battery and insides that were all broke open were soaked. I just wish I had the mind to check my flight log at the time and seen if there were holds them I would confirmed signal loss.

@@FatGuyFliesRC Hi Brad, OK I understand! Yes after that type of crash it is spectacular how so much brakes, even lightweight parts Like the Receiver, Control surfaces, etc… So you had a telemetry Receiver? The other thing would be to test the parts, servos in place. But after a crash and so a mess I wouldn’t do it either. I haven’t done that. Last time I crashed my F-16 like if I had to less power and not enough control. But a colleague found the one two days later in the corn so no test were done either. I glued the fuselage together and on Sunday up she went! Even the landing gear works :P hahaha she isn’t pretty but still a fighter jet in service :P Enjoy this jet!!

About the SD card: I bought a time ago a RunCam for my hat because my GoPro3 was filming too dark and he app doesn’t work when it should. But I had problems with too less battery or the last two times with bad cheap sd cards. I Hope I can record Some maidens and flights soon and nice :) 🎥

Same happened with mine. My idiot mate was stood in the middle of the runway and as I landed I hit his leg with the wing but it wrecked my front gear. Upon opening up the front all my subfloor plastic which the gears held into was cracked. Can't get that as a spare so I ripped it all out and sold it as a toss and boss to a friend. Shame as i really wanted to like it but I didn't enjoy its maiden. Had decided I was going to sell it 2 mins into the flight already.

Well I love mine. But not everyone has had the ups and down I have had with it. Sort made it personal to make it work!!!

Actually , I loose interest in any aircraft if she goes into a crash.. even if fixable. I feel it won’t be flying well ever again!

I can get that. But sometimes once they are fixed they sometimes fly better.
