Man I love the beauty and the power of this Blue Angel!

Personally you are one of the best in the game. For people to come on here and be keyboard warriors is just sad. These people are probably the same people that make people run away from the airfields. You have helped so many understand this hobby. Just know I’m grateful for your teachings.

My FW Blue Angels F/A-18 jet arrived yesterday. Been on the fence for months on this one, but I was inspired by your recent vids - Thx for that..... I hope it flies as well as yours!

Glad to have inspired you. Hope you enjoy it! don't let it intimidate you, it is a sweetheart. Narrow gear so keep those landing VERY straight.

As a kid my Grandmom worked at the WillowGrove PA airforce base so I went to every show was able to see them perform in the F5 to F4 and finally here in MD Eastern Shore the F18. Incredibly talented pilots. Not a bad flight yourself

Great flying jet for sure. Been flying mine as #5 since they became available from Motion a few years back. One thing I would add is do not get too slow on approach with full flaps down because they are very affective on this jet and I've seen many a guy drop a few inches to the ramp after a flawless flight and lose a few cool points in the process! Other than that, once trimmed they are locked in. My rates are fairly similar and as you pointed out you fly the way it suits you.

I go through the hangar with a can of computer duster about once a month. Keeps dust gone during winter. If you use END DUST air spray your planes can sit for ages with now worries. Great video!
@FatGuyFliesRC21 күн бұрын
NO NO NO just fly them to keep the dust off......lol Great tip thanks!!

Just got back from the field. Cut it short as the crosswinds were 10mph at 41 degrees.

I've found that some days it's better to just call it a day and go home.

Very nice jet, but i only get 2min 40sec out of a 5000hrb and im not pushing it to much. Batt ends up around 3.77v cell

Do you live in a high altitude area? I have heard that can have an effect on lipo performance.
