I gotta admit, when he sang ‘once again’ in the beginning - I thought it was a Vessel clip! Oooh, y’all are in DEEP now!😂 (I’ll add more once the video finishes. I had to say that real quick.) So, everyone’s had that toxic breakup - and then when you catch up with each other again, and ‘lie down together’…. To me, it’s that first reconnection. You loved so deeply, and then you separate - and the moment you’re in each others presence again, those feelings and emotions don’t fade easily… Maybe that’s just how I interpret it in my life. Great reaction, fellas! As always.

Damn... That might be the best explanation of how the song made me feel. Those feeling are debilitating in my experience. And it's not like I was laying in bed sobbing and shit... But the amount of time it takes from you accomplishing your goals and shit! I underestimated it heavily...

@@UncleTrebor - It’s absolutely debilitating. When you love hard, losing that love hurts twice as much. Then the intrusive thoughts creep in - like ‘why wasn’t I enough, what did I do wrong, if I could just try again’ and you almost beg for that reconnection. Then once you get it, and if you’re anything like me, you push away all of the toxicity from the relationship because you believe you’re truly in love again. Vessel hurts my heart so badly with the next song… I cannot wait for the reaction!

I believe Vessel is torn between what he views as love and is actually love. He places this person/Diety above God and angels, and when he's feeling lost in his feelings for them, he truly is feeling "LOVE" as he perceives it. In the other songs he expresses the toxicity of their relationship. So, it's like he's torn, and goes back and forth in his feelings. This person/Diety is above reproach in his eyes. But he also acknowledges their shortcomings. As well as his. Love y'all doing this together. So fun and thoughtful. Bloodsport next!! Hope you do both versions. Worship ❤

I feel that this song is a continuation of Say That You Will, in that he just wants one last time with her before she leaves and Drag Me Under is describing the reverence he has for her and her beauty as they lie down togther to make love one last time. Just to behold her, before they even touch. It's a beautifully sad song, but I do think this is about them being together in a biblical sense one final time before they part again, maybe forever. Just my opinion.

For Sleep's sake or whoever you hold as a higher power, STAY WITH THE VISUALIZER FOR BLOODSPORT. Then you can do the room below version after. Don't be distracted with the man in the mask version of this song. You guys have been killin the break downs of these songs as it relates to you. I can't wait for the story that unfolds for you on "Bloodsport". I try not to build it up but after this album there is a big lul of action and self harm through the next album that is just boring to me. Until you get to Take Me Back To Eden then they turn it up and down and sideways again. I love how this song blends right into Bloodsport to finish the album. Try and remember that fade from this song into the next track with the piano.
