Lesson of the day. Never challenge someone who threw urethane growing up to a urethane battle. What they lack in rev rate (to 2 handers) they will bring you to their level and bludgeon you with experience.

@@BarnzyBowling Appreciate the quick response. I was just chatting with a PSO out in AZ who bowls some regionals with the pros out that way and he was saying a lot of the top 2 handers are 1/2in L/R and 1/2 Rev on both, so I was wondering where you were at (pretty similar). My local shop kept me in a Forward pitch when I switched to 2 handed so I'm anticipating a cleaner and more consistent release going reverse with a pair of new balls (Fate and IQ Tour). Subscribed and looking forward to your next videos. Scotch doubles format with Chris? I imagine the banter would be good when one of you leaves the other a split or misses a makeable haha.

Hello Christ Barns, and I suppose that his son is named Justin Barns, anyway hello. Boy I am so glad that I know I know after all of these years that I don't need to buy more bowling balls, and that I don't need to compete anymore because now I know that all bowlers are the same: Pros verses non-pros are basically the same on average, but they at least must be Rank Amitures though ---- not people who can't bowl very good because you must learn to at least carry-right, and get the hook right at the very end of the throw, plus if you are right handed: you must open the lane-up wide enough right at least. But after that pros and amitures are about the same. I also found out over the years that it doesn't matter if you hit your strike-pocket or not so as long as your carrying and hooking enough to avoid deflections which would cause a choppy hit which leaves pins unfortunately, but as long as your (Carrying, and hooking enough) than you'll always get a strike even if it hits light in the pocket, and as a matter of fact if that ball hits light and hooks right every time than you'll get a strike about perhaps 100 out of a hundred shots always --- it cancels-out the mistake of missing the pocket because your ball is coming in with so much energy, and so it cancels that mistake out. Also if the ball carries and hooks it don't matter if you go through the nose or Brooklyn: it makes no difference because it has to result in a strike every time: there's no way out of it . Plus: The "Heisengberg Principle of Uncertainty" Seals the deal that you will not get a strike every time because there is no way of predicting if your ball will carry the same way every time, nor will it hook: it's unknown, and that is why you can't get a perfect game every time forget that happening no way, and so we're all about the same, and we don't really need to prove anything anymore. It's okay to watch bowling, and as long as you don't waste too much money by recklessly buying New balls every 4 to 5 years to keep-up with a commission that doesn't care anyway you can bowl for fun and have a good time. You also can not promise anybody that you will get a perfect game anytime: that just doesn't happen in reality. And you can't promise anybody that you can get one perfect game every Christmas-Day, and after all it's not to much to ask since Christmas is only one day a year. Ha-ha: it's only one day a year MR. Scrooge after all. Ha-ha. Because you can mess-up all of the rest of the year anyway --- you can mess up all you want to then since you've got your one perfect game out of the way. But the sad tyhing about it: you can't get a really good ball every time. It is a good thing though that you don't have to have an absolutely 100 percent shot every time because our scores would go down dramatically. But thank God that you pros can at least miss to some degree and it would be forgiven you then we could go-on enjoying more strikes instead of less. Also you must take lucky hits where pins get tripped as well. Nevertheless this game is not worth getting all wound-up over because it's just a game. Pete Weber says who you think you are i am: well he is not any better than anybody else in this game, and the uncertainty principle proves it, but I appreciate you guys at least trying to get at least 7 or maybe 8 strikes each game anyway. Never let your guard down, and always try to do your best anyway, and if you miss any pins: and your going to always miss it --- you miss-it always, and keep a tradition of missing unfortunately --- bowling is a game of Spares and not strikes because eveery time a pro bowls you have the 10 pins, or solid 8 or 9 pins etc. it's a rule of thumb to keep this tradition unfortunately. But good luck anyway. I am glad that i don't bowl because it is just gambling and biblically it is against God's way of making a living some say. I heard a preacher say that it is stealing, and that was his way of looking at it, and I evaluated it myself and I came to the conclution that it was I guess because god never helped me find out any secret to how a person could Find a "Cure" for this game: I found out also with the uncertainty principle that there is just no cure for bowling especially with the greedy commission i charge. So I quit sweating it. Plus I let the pros worry about it, or anybody that has the money to jack-around with it. Anyway one might as well decide for themselves how many strikes they may get in each game, and just forget the other strikes that they'll miss anyway. The best way though: is if you miss just start over a fresh again and let each shot show you the hazards each time and the successes each time as well. I always had the wrong idea that my favorite player was going to get a perfect game but that always turned-out to be too presumptious on my part, and so I had to accept a less than perfect out come. What I had discovered over my years of bowling though: was that any ball that doesn't carry-down-lane enough, and doesn't hook enough will always leave pins do to choppiness with deflections with pin leaves because anything less than a perfect roll is not normal unfortunately so it will leave pins because it's not rotating enough to be able to get a strike each time, and so you get less pin count because of that is not normal. I knew a man named Jim and he got lots of strikes because he was hooking at the very back end enough, and I didn't know it at the time, but I concluded that this was the reason for his continuous strike streaks that he was getting. But in the final analysis that is true. You worry about carry first, and once you've done that then you worry about the end result of the hook. You can still have more or or less hook though depending upon your type of ball. However i believe that Straighter is better as so long as you can get the ball to hook enough then your fine, but you must go-down-lane enough first. You can tell though if your throwing-it right if your not getting deflections, and if your ball is correct: if you get it to go through Brooklyn or the nose it should strike regardless if it's entry-point is correct. But now you don't want to get in to the habit of going to Brooklyn instead because that kind of Compromise will lead your game to far out of the pocket, and so you stay with hitting your strike pock is a good policy always. Anyway it is good to see you Justin bowling with your father though. I remember seeing your father back in Phoenix AZ. at 300 hundred bowl back in the day, and he was always a hopeful bowler. I also met Norm Duke at either Northgate bowling ally or 300 bowl UI forget though. Anyway I always like to watch bowling because that tells you what your doing wrong to examine other good bowlers to see what you were doing wrong. Anyway Good luck And hopefully you give your life to God because the time is getting short because the 7 years Tribulation is approaching, and the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the church is very close at hand. Jesus told his Apostles when he gave his great Commission to them before he left, and the angels told them that he would rturn in like manner as he left, but I believe that he will actually return in a "Worm-Hole", and that's because the Mount of Olives splits in half --- I believe that this is a result of that Vortex that would about cover the whole earth at that time when the sun and the moon would be blotted out. But anyway listen to Al Belick, and Prestion because they explain the Philadelphia Experiment when that time Travel experiment took place, and what happened; they explain these effect to you. I don't want to go into all of the science here. Christ will be a several hundred foot giant to defeat his enemies like demons like bigfoot, and Reptilians and greys, and people who hate god and Israel. So Ask Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and he will forgive you, and then you'll be able to go up in the rapture. Comment to me if you want me to give you more science on this, and more about the bible as well. But God bless you both.
