Hearing the wisdom and stories from their dad made me feel like I was living in a time where technology didn’t exist, but Faith, love, fun and discipline mattered. I love this episode

This was an amazing episode!! It's' not often that you get an opportunity to pull back the curtain and listen to black men express their hopes and fears...their journeys through life. I hope that Iman and Ahri bring on their other brothers for a conversation. I'm proud of the show and what you all are doing to bring attention to fatherhood.

That question that Shump asked…well they’re all Shump…but the one Iman asked at 17:10 was a very important one. Blended families and first timers…very good question.

This episode of your podcast is a book waiting to be written. Family values as they adapt from generation to generation and the wisdom past down from father to sons.

I Appreciate this Episode Jo! I grew up without a Dad, but I have 2kids (twins, actually) and I pour EVERYTHING into them...all that I felt I needed coming up! This was so pure and very refreshing... Thanks Jo!!!

At 36, black male, no father growing up, this was a great interview! I wish i had this dynamic and relationship growing up with my father, also my mother. Never once did i get a chance to sit down, talk, get to know who they are, I was raised in the SOUTH by Grandmother. I watched evey minute of this interview and took in a lot of wisdom from it. Things that i can apply in my daily life, and ways i can be a better Father to my son and daughters.

Man!! I love this so much!! As my father is no longer with me (was only 57 when he passed). I was laughing when I heard y’all talking about why/how you became Catholic, as I grew up Baptist and then acquired my spiritual foundation as an adult in a Pentecostal church. Y’all definitely wouldn’t have been able to hang. Haha I’m only 12min in. But this episode already confirms why Iman is beloved by many. It’s clear how well you were raised as a man. Shoutout to your big bro who I’m only meeting after subscribing to this podcast. Continued blessings to your beautiful family ❤.
