It's not a matter of if Abbie will go wrist deep into food when we are making dinner or treats but a matter of when. She dug deep into our freshly made Christmas fudge. Fortunately she didn't burn herself.

Mamas do stockings that's what they do. I am 36 and my mom still brings stuffings for my partner to slip in my stocking so I wake up to it. Also I think it is super sweet that Isaiah calls his mom every day. My whole life at 7pm my dad called his mom now she lives with him and me and my dad take care of her, she is 91.

Santa and Dad couldn't make it to his offices family Christmas party when I was 10. They were both very busy but managed to pop in to the party. I love the special friends of Santa who help him out around the world. These special friends are amazing people aren't they Asa. It's very nice of you to explain to your young viewers about how Santa's special friends help him out in case of confusion.😉

You could open the gifts before your trip, but have Santa leave the filled up Christmas stocking on Christmas morning... the stockings and those little gifts won't take up much room. OR.... if you decide to take the gifts with you, wrap them without boxes... that will save SO much space!

Abby doing the mail made my heart so happy watching her struggle but figure out the key I smiled so much. Watching her gives me the same butterflies I get when I see small babies so innocent and pure you just love their personality without ever saying hi to them.

Noticed Abbie's jeans vest on backwards. We've had to do similar tactics for our daughter Jesse, otherwise there are "surprises" waiting for us when she is left to her own initiatives. I swear she has a Houdini gene somewhere. When she was little, we had custom one-piece suits made for her by a lady in Florida with multiple latch systems.

@@AnnaT. We are pretty new to this channel. That is interesting. There are so many similarities between Jesse and Abbie, it is uncanny. The only real difference is Jesse is blind. We are actually learning quite a bit here about things that used to confuse us about our daughter. We are so glad we found them! 😊💕

22 years old and I've never had a Christmas at home. As a kid my parents always had us write letters to Santa explaining why he needed to come a day early so we could travel to see our family Christmas Day. Somehow it always worked! Haha With that being said, we have such precious memories of opening gifts a day early and we always felt special that Santa paid a visit a night before he visited our cousins! Open the presents at home, it'll be a special memory that is unique from your year to year traditions!

Pricilla, you know your followers almost ALWAYS side with you but i have to agree with the boys this time. I am currently in the SUV on a 17 hour car ride South to Florida and we don’t do material Christmas presents for that very reason. We have made this trip for 8 years (every year since my (step) mom died. I am chronically ill and require assistance with treatments and in some aspects of daily living and my brothers have fetal alcohol syndrome and are disabled so we travel as a family to be with family for Christmas). That means 4 grown adults worth of clothes and pillows and electronics and such. and we are already crammed in here like sardines. If we added gifts, we wouldn’t be able to breath. Instead, we give an experience and make a memory. that can be as cheap as a movie or game night or as expensive as a trip to Busch Gardens or even Disney. You can choose to do these activities one on one or as a large family. as an example, a game night would probably be more fun with an entire family (extended family and all) but a trip to get a mani pedi may be a great opportunity to catch up for you and your 2nd cousin.

Hi guys! Firstly, sending love from San Francisco, California!! Quick idea for Priscilla, next year, or next trip, you can vacuum seal your clothing. It leaves PLENTY of room for presents, arguably more important, stocking stuffers. I to love the holidays, and my heart just broke. Hopefully this tip can help you not only be able to bring even MORE clothing in less room... they are also in tear safe packaging that are wear and tear friendly as well as compact. i agree with asa about the presents. Intentionally the trip was the gift and then down the line presents where bought. Bigger gifts should be opened and smaller gifts should be kept for Christmas day. if you take big gifts it becomes impractical and takes up alot of room :/

My 7 year old daughter and I just binge watched all of the "Sugarplum" episodes and they were hilarious! 😂 Y'all put so much work into these and I wish so badly that my 5 year old autistic son could understand these because I know he would enjoy them as much as we do. Asas, I usually post something I found funny or touching but on a serious note - It's a "Mom thing". My vote is you try to make work whatever is going to give mom a joy filled Christmas. Remember Isaiah is going to be away at college next year, yes he will come home for Christmas, but it still is going to be different :)
