Surah Al Haaqqah - 0-30 of 52 Ayahs, Transliteration & Translation by Saheeh International ﺑِﺴْﻢِ اﻟﻠَّﻪِ اﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤَٰﻦِ اﻟﺮَّﺣِﻴﻢِ Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. اﻟْﺤَﺎﻗَّﺔُ ﴿١﴾ 1. Alhaqqatu 1. The Inevitable Reality - ﻣَﺎ اﻟْﺤَﺎﻗَّﺔُ ﴿٢﴾ 2. Ma alhaqqatu 2. What is the Inevitable Reality? ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﺃَﺩْﺭَاﻙَ ﻣَﺎ اﻟْﺤَﺎﻗَّﺔُ ﴿٣﴾ 3. Wama adraka ma alhaqqatu 3. And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality? ﻛَﺬَّﺑَﺖْ ﺛَﻤُﻮﺩُ ﻭَﻋَﺎﺩٌ ﺑِﺎﻟْﻘَﺎﺭِﻋَﺔِ ﴿٤﴾ 4. Kaththabat thamoodu waAAadun bialqariAAati 4. Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity. ﻓَﺄَﻣَّﺎ ﺛَﻤُﻮﺩُ ﻓَﺄُﻫْﻠِﻜُﻮا ﺑِﺎﻟﻄَّﺎﻏِﻴَﺔِ ﴿٥﴾ 5. Faamma thamoodu faohlikoo bialttaghiyati 5. So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]. ﻭَﺃَﻣَّﺎ ﻋَﺎﺩٌ ﻓَﺄُﻫْﻠِﻜُﻮا ﺑِﺮِﻳﺢٍ ﺻَﺮْﺻَﺮٍ ﻋَﺎﺗِﻴَﺔٍ ﴿٦﴾ 6. Waamma AAadun faohlikoo bireehin sarsarin AAatiyatin 6. And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind ﺳَﺨَّﺮَﻫَﺎ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻬِﻢْ ﺳَﺒْﻊَ ﻟَﻴَﺎﻝٍ ﻭَﺛَﻤَﺎﻧِﻴَﺔَ ﺃَﻳَّﺎﻡٍ ﺣُﺴُﻮﻣًﺎ ﻓَﺘَﺮَﻯ اﻟْﻘَﻮْﻡَ ﻓِﻴﻬَﺎ ﺻَﺮْﻋَﻰٰ ﻛَﺄَﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﺃَﻋْﺠَﺎﺯُ ﻧَﺨْﻞٍ ﺧَﺎﻭِﻳَﺔٍ ﴿٧﴾ 7. Sakhkharaha AAalayhim sabAAa layalin wathamaniyata ayyamin husooman fatara alqawma feeha sarAAa kaannahum aAAjazu nakhlin khawiyatun 7. Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees. ﻓَﻬَﻞْ ﺗَﺮَﻯٰ ﻟَﻬُﻢْ ﻣِﻦْ ﺑَﺎﻗِﻴَﺔٍ ﴿٨﴾ 8. Fahal tara lahum min baqiyatin 8. Then do you see of them any remains? ﻭَﺟَﺎءَ ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥُ ﻭَﻣَﻦْ ﻗَﺒْﻠَﻪُ ﻭَاﻟْﻤُﺆْﺗَﻔِﻜَﺎﺕُ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺨَﺎﻃِﺌَﺔِ ﴿٩﴾ 9. Wajaa firAAawnu waman qablahu waalmutafikatu bialkhatiati 9. And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin. ﻓَﻌَﺼَﻮْا ﺭَﺳُﻮﻝَ ﺭَﺑِّﻬِﻢْ ﻓَﺄَﺧَﺬَﻫُﻢْ ﺃَﺧْﺬَﺓً ﺭَاﺑِﻴَﺔً ﴿١٠﴾ 10. FaAAasaw rasoola rabbihim faakhathahum akhthatan rabiyatan 10. And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity]. ﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﻟَﻤَّﺎ ﻃَﻐَﻰ اﻟْﻤَﺎءُ ﺣَﻤَﻠْﻨَﺎﻛُﻢْ ﻓِﻲ اﻟْﺠَﺎﺭِﻳَﺔِ ﴿١١﴾ 11. Inna lamma tagha almao hamalnakum fee aljariyati 11. Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship ﻟِﻨَﺠْﻌَﻠَﻬَﺎ ﻟَﻜُﻢْ ﺗَﺬْﻛِﺮَﺓً ﻭَﺗَﻌِﻴَﻬَﺎ ﺃُﺫُﻥٌ ﻭَاﻋِﻴَﺔٌ ﴿١٢﴾ 12. LinajAAalaha lakum tathkiratan wataAAiyaha othunun waAAiyatun 12. That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it. ﻓَﺈِﺫَا ﻧُﻔِﺦَ ﻓِﻲ اﻟﺼُّﻮﺭِ ﻧَﻔْﺨَﺔٌ ﻭَاﺣِﺪَﺓٌ ﴿١٣﴾ 13. Faitha nufikha fee alssoori nafkhatun wahidatun 13. Then when the Horn is blown with one blast ﻭَﺣُﻤِﻠَﺖِ اﻷَْﺭْﺽُ ﻭَاﻟْﺠِﺒَﺎﻝُ ﻓَﺪُﻛَّﺘَﺎ ﺩَﻛَّﺔً ﻭَاﺣِﺪَﺓً ﴿١٤﴾ 14. Wahumilati alardu waaljibalu fadukkata dakkatan wahidatan 14. And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow - ﻓَﻴَﻮْﻣَﺌِﺬٍ ﻭَﻗَﻌَﺖِ اﻟْﻮَاﻗِﻌَﺔُ ﴿١٥﴾ 15. Fayawmaithin waqaAAati alwaqiAAatu 15. Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur, ﻭَاﻧْﺸَﻘَّﺖِ اﻟﺴَّﻤَﺎءُ ﻓَﻬِﻲَ ﻳَﻮْﻣَﺌِﺬٍ ﻭَاﻫِﻴَﺔٌ ﴿١٦﴾ 16. Wainshaqqati alssamao fahiya yawmaithin wahiyatun 16. And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm. ﻭَاﻟْﻤَﻠَﻚُ ﻋَﻠَﻰٰ ﺃَﺭْﺟَﺎﺋِﻬَﺎ ۚ ﻭَﻳَﺤْﻤِﻞُ ﻋَﺮْﺵَ ﺭَﺑِّﻚَ ﻓَﻮْﻗَﻬُﻢْ ﻳَﻮْﻣَﺌِﺬٍ ﺛَﻤَﺎﻧِﻴَﺔٌ ﴿١٧﴾ 17. Waalmalaku AAala arjaiha wayahmilu AAarsha rabbika fawqahum yawmaithin thamaniyatun 17. And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]. ﻳَﻮْﻣَﺌِﺬٍ ﺗُﻌْﺮَﺿُﻮﻥَ ﻻَ ﺗَﺨْﻔَﻰٰ ﻣِﻨْﻜُﻢْ ﺧَﺎﻓِﻴَﺔٌ ﴿١٨﴾ 18. Yawmaithin tuAAradoona la takhfa minkum khafiyatun 18. That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed. ﻓَﺄَﻣَّﺎ ﻣَﻦْ ﺃُﻭﺗِﻲَ ﻛِﺘَﺎﺑَﻪُ ﺑِﻴَﻤِﻴﻨِﻪِ ﻓَﻴَﻘُﻮﻝُ ﻫَﺎﺅُﻡُ اﻗْﺮَءُﻭا ﻛِﺘَﺎﺑِﻴَﻪْ ﴿١٩﴾ 19. Faamma man ootiya kitabahu biyameenihi fayaqoolu haomu iqraoo kitabiyah 19. So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! ﺇِﻧِّﻲ ﻇَﻨَﻨْﺖُ ﺃَﻧِّﻲ ﻣُﻼَﻕٍ ﺣِﺴَﺎﺑِﻴَﻪْ ﴿٢٠﴾ 20. Innee thanantu annee mulaqin hisabiyah 20. Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account." ﻓَﻬُﻮَ ﻓِﻲ ﻋِﻴﺸَﺔٍ ﺭَاﺿِﻴَﺔٍ ﴿٢١﴾ 21. Fahuwa fee AAeeshatin radiyatin 21. So he will be in a pleasant life - ﻓِﻲ ﺟَﻨَّﺔٍ ﻋَﺎﻟِﻴَﺔٍ ﴿٢٢﴾ 22. Fee jannatin AAaliyatin 22. In an elevated garden, ﻗُﻄُﻮﻓُﻬَﺎ ﺩَاﻧِﻴَﺔٌ ﴿٢٣﴾ 23. Qutoofuha daniyatun 23. Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near. ﻛُﻠُﻮا ﻭَاﺷْﺮَﺑُﻮا ﻫَﻨِﻴﺌًﺎ ﺑِﻤَﺎ ﺃَﺳْﻠَﻔْﺘُﻢْ ﻓِﻲ اﻷَْﻳَّﺎﻡِ اﻟْﺨَﺎﻟِﻴَﺔِ ﴿٢٤﴾ 24. Kuloo waishraboo haneean bima aslaftum fee alayyami alkhaliyati 24. [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past." ﻭَﺃَﻣَّﺎ ﻣَﻦْ ﺃُﻭﺗِﻲَ ﻛِﺘَﺎﺑَﻪُ ﺑِﺸِﻤَﺎﻟِﻪِ ﻓَﻴَﻘُﻮﻝُ ﻳَﺎ ﻟَﻴْﺘَﻨِﻲ ﻟَﻢْ ﺃُﻭﺕَ ﻛِﺘَﺎﺑِﻴَﻪْ ﴿٢٥﴾ 25. Waamma man ootiya kitabahu bishimalihi fayaqoolu ya laytanee lam oota kitabiyah 25. But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record ﻭَﻟَﻢْ ﺃَﺩْﺭِ ﻣَﺎ ﺣِﺴَﺎﺑِﻴَﻪْ ﴿٢٦﴾ 26. Walam adri ma hisabiyah 26. And had not known what is my account. ﻳَﺎ ﻟَﻴْﺘَﻬَﺎ ﻛَﺎﻧَﺖِ اﻟْﻘَﺎﺿِﻴَﺔَ ﴿٢٧﴾ 27. Ya laytaha kanati alqadiyatu 27. I wish my death had been the decisive one. ﻣَﺎ ﺃَﻏْﻨَﻰٰ ﻋَﻨِّﻲ ﻣَﺎﻟِﻴَﻪْ ۜ ﴿٢٨﴾ 28. Ma aghna AAannee maliyah 28. My wealth has not availed me. ﻫَﻠَﻚَ ﻋَﻨِّﻲ ﺳُﻠْﻄَﺎﻧِﻴَﻪْ ﴿٢٩﴾ 29. Halaka AAannee sultaniyah 29. Gone from me is my authority." ﺧُﺬُﻭﻩُ ﻓَﻐُﻠُّﻮﻩُ ﴿٣٠﴾ 30. Khuthoohu faghulloohu 30. [Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him.

069. Surah Al Haaqqah - 31-52 of 52 Ayahs, Transliteration & Translation by Saheeh International ﺛُﻢَّ اﻟْﺠَﺤِﻴﻢَ ﺻَﻠُّﻮﻩُ ﴿٣١﴾ 31. Thumma aljaheema salloohu 31. Then into Hellfire drive him. ﺛُﻢَّ ﻓِﻲ ﺳِﻠْﺴِﻠَﺔٍ ﺫَﺭْﻋُﻬَﺎ ﺳَﺒْﻌُﻮﻥَ ﺫِﺭَاﻋًﺎ ﻓَﺎﺳْﻠُﻜُﻮﻩُ ﴿٣٢﴾ 32. Thumma fee silsilatin tharAAuha sabAAoona thiraAAan faoslukoohu 32. Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him." ﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻻَ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻦُ ﺑِﺎﻟﻠَّﻪِ اﻟْﻌَﻈِﻴﻢِ ﴿٣٣﴾ 33. Innahu kana la yuminu biAllahi alAAatheemi 33. Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great, ﻭَﻻَ ﻳَﺤُﺾُّ ﻋَﻠَﻰٰ ﻃَﻌَﺎﻡِ اﻟْﻤِﺴْﻜِﻴﻦِ ﴿٣٤﴾ 34. Wala yahuddu AAala taAAami almiskeeni 34. Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor. ﻓَﻠَﻴْﺲَ ﻟَﻪُ اﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡَ ﻫَﺎﻫُﻨَﺎ ﺣَﻤِﻴﻢٌ ﴿٣٥﴾ 35. Falaysa lahu alyawma hahuna hameemun 35. So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend ﻭَﻻَ ﻃَﻌَﺎﻡٌ ﺇِﻻَّ ﻣِﻦْ ﻏِﺴْﻠِﻴﻦٍ ﴿٣٦﴾ 36. Wala taAAamun illa min ghisleenin 36. Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; ﻻَ ﻳَﺄْﻛُﻠُﻪُ ﺇِﻻَّ اﻟْﺨَﺎﻃِﺌُﻮﻥَ ﴿٣٧﴾ 37. La yakuluhu illa alkhatioona 37. None will eat it except the sinners. ﻓَﻼَ ﺃُﻗْﺴِﻢُ ﺑِﻤَﺎ ﺗُﺒْﺼِﺮُﻭﻥَ ﴿٣٨﴾ 38. Fala oqsimu bima tubsiroona 38. So I swear by what you see ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻻَ ﺗُﺒْﺼِﺮُﻭﻥَ ﴿٣٩﴾ 39. Wama la tubsiroona 39. And what you do not see ﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻟَﻘَﻮْﻝُ ﺭَﺳُﻮﻝٍ ﻛَﺮِﻳﻢٍ ﴿٤٠﴾ 40. Innahu laqawlu rasoolin kareemin 40. [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻫُﻮَ ﺑِﻘَﻮْﻝِ ﺷَﺎﻋِﺮٍ ۚ ﻗَﻠِﻴﻼً ﻣَﺎ ﺗُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮﻥَ ﴿٤١﴾ 41. Wama huwa biqawli shaAAirin qaleelan ma tuminoona 41. And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. ﻭَﻻَ ﺑِﻘَﻮْﻝِ ﻛَﺎﻫِﻦٍ ۚ ﻗَﻠِﻴﻼً ﻣَﺎ ﺗَﺬَﻛَّﺮُﻭﻥَ ﴿٤٢﴾ 42. Wala biqawli kahinin qaleelan ma tathakkaroona 42. Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. ﺗَﻨْﺰِﻳﻞٌ ﻣِﻦْ ﺭَﺏِّ اﻟْﻌَﺎﻟَﻤِﻴﻦَ ﴿٤٣﴾ 43. Tanzeelun min rabbi alAAalameena 43. [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. ﻭَﻟَﻮْ ﺗَﻘَﻮَّﻝَ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻨَﺎ ﺑَﻌْﺾَ اﻷَْﻗَﺎﻭِﻳﻞِ ﴿٤٤﴾ 44. Walaw taqawwala AAalayna baAAda alaqaweeli 44. And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, ﻷََﺧَﺬْﻧَﺎ ﻣِﻨْﻪُ ﺑِﺎﻟْﻴَﻤِﻴﻦِ ﴿٤٥﴾ 45. Laakhathna minhu bialyameeni 45. We would have seized him by the right hand; ﺛُﻢَّ ﻟَﻘَﻄَﻌْﻨَﺎ ﻣِﻨْﻪُ اﻟْﻮَﺗِﻴﻦَ ﴿٤٦﴾ 46. Thumma laqataAAna minhu alwateena 46. Then We would have cut from him the aorta. ﻓَﻤَﺎ ﻣِﻨْﻜُﻢْ ﻣِﻦْ ﺃَﺣَﺪٍ ﻋَﻨْﻪُ ﺣَﺎﺟِﺰِﻳﻦَ ﴿٤٧﴾ 47. Fama minkum min ahadin AAanhu hajizeena 47. And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. ﻭَﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻟَﺘَﺬْﻛِﺮَﺓٌ ﻟِﻠْﻤُﺘَّﻘِﻴﻦَ ﴿٤٨﴾ 48. Wainnahu latathkiratun lilmuttaqeena 48. And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. ﻭَﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﻟَﻨَﻌْﻠَﻢُ ﺃَﻥَّ ﻣِﻨْﻜُﻢْ ﻣُﻜَﺬِّﺑِﻴﻦَ ﴿٤٩﴾ 49. Wainna lanaAAlamu anna minkum mukaththibeena 49. And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. ﻭَﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻟَﺤَﺴْﺮَﺓٌ ﻋَﻠَﻰ اﻟْﻜَﺎﻓِﺮِﻳﻦَ ﴿٥٠﴾ 50. Wainnahu lahasratun AAala alkafireena 50. And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. ﻭَﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻟَﺤَﻖُّ اﻟْﻴَﻘِﻴﻦِ ﴿٥١﴾ 51. Wainnahu lahaqqu alyaqeeni 51. And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. ﻓَﺴَﺒِّﺢْ ﺑِﺎﺳْﻢِ ﺭَﺑِّﻚَ اﻟْﻌَﻈِﻴﻢِ ﴿٥٢﴾ 52. Fasabbih biismi rabbika alAAatheemi 52.
