With due respect to her ,I am totally disagree on her view regarding current Bollywood movies are not issues based or don't raise questions regarding minority or depressed classes . If you asked the serious filmmaker around world right now they find current Bollywood movies are more issues based let me give some example The movie like Masaan raised question on dalit, women ; lipstick under burqa raised question on orthodox tradition & women freedom ; Article 15 raised question on Discrimination based on caste , race, religion,gender ; movie like Mulq raise question on associating religion to terrorism ; movie like Badhai ho raised question of women empowerment , the movie Maa raised issues of strong modern mother character ; the movie like margarita with straw raised question on differently abbled people& their issues in life , movie like knock out raised question on black money & corrupt politician ,secret superstar ,dangal ,tare jammen par , pk ,3 idiots ,swadesh, chak de India , & many many more not just every year but every month Bollywood or Indian Cinema coming with great epic issues based movies
