I know natural hair can be a struggle but it’s always good to know how to care for your hair naturally so you don’t have so much damage . We all have to start things we don’t want to but for the sake of your hair I would go to a natural stylist get it trimmed because health over length and just start from there . Will on a Whim is a really great natural hair influencer with the same texture you should look into it .

Totally understand this but I feel no need to cut or do the big chop or anything like that. Yes my hair is damaged in the ends but I wear my hair straight mostly so it doesn't bother me at all! I try to keep up w/ my trims but for the sake of dead ends and fullness, not to get rid of heat damaged hair. If I decide to wear my hair natural then that would be a different story
